   "You worthless bitch no one will ever love you." Your dad slams you against the wall of your bedroom and begins to beat you. You're screaming in pain when all of a sudden you hear someone.
   "Y/n wake up. Wake up darling you're having a bad dream." You feel a hand on your shoulder. It's Sarah. You wake up sobbing as she holds you in her arms. You calm down after a bit. You check the time and it's 4:38am.
   "I'm sorry I woke you." You say sniffling a little. "Don't worry about it baby." She says rubbing your head. "I think I'm ready to talk about what happened." You say lowly. "Okay honey I'm listening." Sarah says holding still holding you.
   You're quiet for a second trying to find the right words. "My dads been hurting me for a while.." You begin. "Even worse when he's drunk. I always try to protect Rosy but sometimes I'm not there in time." Your voice shakes remembering the time he nearly broke Rosy's arm. "He always shouts at me about how I'll never be good enough and how I'm a worthless pig. He told me everyone would be happier if I was dead." You start to cry a little but you cant stop now.
    "Ever since my mom left he seemed to hate me even more. He blames me for her leaving. It probably is my fault. He's right though. It would be better if I was just gone. Whenever I hurt myself I think about everything he says to me. What the kids at school say to me. I seem to just be a burden to everyone. I'm so tired of fighting Sarah. I don't know if I can do this much longer." You say breaking down in tears.
   Sarah's hugging you tightly now. "Y/n, I promise you aren't a burden. You mean so much to me. I love you so much. I know we haven't known each other for a long time but the time I've spent with you have been the best times of my life. Seeing you always seems to make my day better. Your smiles contagious. You're not worthless my love. I'd give you the world if I could. You're so brave for telling me about this. I won't let him hurt you anymore darling do you hear me. I'm never going to let anything bad happen to you again." You can tell she's crying by the shake in her voice.
   "In the morning I can go and get the remainder of your things if you'd like me to. You and Rosy are staying with me until we can sort this out." Sarah says as she's slowly calming down. "I'll come with you. I don't want him to hurt you." You say. "Are you sure y/n? I don't think it's a good idea for you to come with me."  Sarah says. "I'm sure. I'll be okay." You say. "If you insist." She says as you both drift asleep.
