Coiny's POV

Pen was virtually suffering a panic attack. It seemed having to do that had taken a toll on him. It was understandable. He was just staring death in the face, after all.

"Not everyone was here," Pillow said. "So not everyone knows Taco is the second killer. We need to get the news around quickly or who knows what might happen."

"That's a good idea." I acknowledged, nodding. "Does anyone know where Taco was heading? Pen?"

Pen looked up at me. "No, I have no idea. She just bolted out the window."

"But do you know which way she went?" I asked him. "Pen, this is very important."

"I don't know! Everyone came in and there were a lot of things going through my head!" He wailed.

"Alright, fine. Pillow, go around and alert everyone you can, we need to get the word out as soon as we can."

"Got it." She nodded, scrambling out of the room, and I walked over to the window, looking out to see if she'd left any tracks.

Donut's POV (Hours earlier)

Snowball dragged Ice Cube down the stairs, and Eraser, Bell and I followed behind. I felt guilty.    I wasn't sure someone like Ice Cube could do something like this.

Icy continued to scream and thrash around, trying to escape, but Snowball kept walking until he got down to the basement, suddenly stopping. I could practically sense his heart drop and I quickly raced down to see what he saw.

The door of the wine cellar was wide open and both the people inside were gone. Snowball groaned angrily and I let out an irritated sigh as well.

Damn it Barf Bag, we would've let you out once suspicion was off you... Then my mind shifted to a darker thought. What if they didn't escape, but were taken? Or worse, killed?

I tried not to imagine that as Snowball slid Icy into the cellar and slammed the door shut in a fit.

"Calm down-" I started, but he cut me off.

"Shut up. I'm going back upstairs." He shoved past me and Eraser, Bell flattening herself against the wall as well as she could, and he slammed the door of the basement behind him, walking off.

"Eraser, you're friends with him right? Go talk to him!" Bell exclaimed.

"Yeah, yeah, alright..." Eraser replied, walking up through the door and following Snowball.

"You go ahead, I'll catch up." I told Bell, and she wasted no time leaving, not wanting to be near the still screaming Icy.

Once she left I went back down the stairs, walking to where the cube was.

"Look, I just want you to know, I think you're innocent." I said. "I'll let you out of here as soon as I have evidence to prove that."

Ice Cube calmed down for a moment before going back to ramming against the door just lightly enough not to hurt herself. I sighed and turned, walking up the stairs after the others.

Clock's POV

Rain flowed outside the dining-room window, and I sat close to Eggy. We were one of the few there, with the only others being Eraser, Bell, Teardrop, Gaty, and Cake, who had recently entered, looking for Donut but deciding to stay, though he remained far away from everyone, clearly distrusting them as much as I did.

I didn't trust Gaty at all. She had kept to herself practically the entire time we were here, especially once Lollipop had been outed as a killer. I had almost forgotten she was alive or even existed, and I kept away from her when I could.

Eraser and Bell were having a conversation a few tables away, talking about something apparently funny as they were laughing.

Then Taco rushed in, wheezing, slamming the door closed behind her. "L-Lollipop! She's after me!" She gasped, running over to one of the tables.

Eraser practically went pale, running to the door and locking it.

Taco started to push a table against the door and I got up to help her. But she was stronger than she looked, and before I could even get there she'd already succeeded. She slid down to the ground, panting.

"What happened?" Gaty asked, approaching slightly and then stopping.

"This is the second time you've been chased just today, Taco." Eggy pointed out. "Is there a reason you've suddenly become a target?"

"How am I supposed to know?" She asked between breaths.

I backed further from the door, not wanting to be near where Lollipop was. It seemed Gaty had the same idea, moving back towards the windows.

Eggy helped Taco stand up. "Did you get hurt at all?" Eggy asked, briefly glancing over Taco.

"No, I'm fine." She cracked a wide smile before slamming Eggy face first into the table. "In fact, I've never been better."
