Fries' POV

"Then it's been agreed upon. Puffball, you have been voted as the top suspect for murderer." Donut said, sighing.

"What?!" She cried. "Why me?"

"I have no idea, I didn't vote for you." Donut shrugged. "But, c'est la vie."

"I didn't do it! I swear!"

"Well, Puffball. Let's think about the people that were attacked. Grassy, Match, and Needle were all enemies of yours."  Bell said.

"Puffball wouldn't do this, you're all delusional!" I yelled.

"Sorry Fries, but she got the most votes." Tennis Ball said. "That's how this works."

"I won't let you kill her!" I got in front of her protectively, though of course I knew that most of them could easily kill me if they wanted.

"Look, we're not going to kill her. Let's lock her down in the basement. If she's not the killer we can let her go when this is all over." Donut suggested

"No! She's innocent!" I screamed. Snowball walked out of the crowd and practically tossed me aside. I slammed into the wall hard and immediately felt dizzy, feeling like I was going to throw up or pass out.

"Puff...ball!" I tried to yell but I was too weak to say it louder.

"Why would you do that?!" Puffball yelled at Snowball. Snowball grabbed her and pulled her out of the room.

"No!" I got up and tried to run but a sharp pain flared up in the back of my head, and I collapsed, coughing out ketchup and salt. Foldy came over and put her foot on my shoulder.

"Do you need help?" she asked.

I sighed. "Yes, could you please help me get to my room?"

"Sure thing."

Pin's POV

I watched as Fries and Foldy left, with Stapy following close behind. I couldn't help but feel bad for Fries. I knew he really cared about Puffball, she was his best friend. At least she's still alive, but it still must be hard.

And Snowball really went too far.

"Pin, want to get out of here?" Coiny asked, tapping my shoulder.

"oh, sure." I smiled at him and began to follow him out of the room.

"Hey... where's Spongy? And Firey Junior?" Barf Bag asked. I stopped and looked around.

"Yeah, where are they?" I thought out loud.

"Has anyone seen Woody?" Nickel asked, causing Balloony to start freaking out.

"Probably abandoned us and went through the gate..." Pen muttered, staring toward the ground.

"There's no way Spongy could fit through the gate." Tennis ball pointed out.

"Damn it..." Donut sighed. "Alright, let's get into groups and search for them. I'm not even sure if we'd be safe in pairs."

Pen's POV (+ Later, at night)

I learned against the gate, sighing. Spongy's body had been found. A patch of blood had smoke rising from it, which we decided was probably Firey Jr's fate. Woody was there as well, slightly injured, but far more terrified than hurt.

I looked toward the gate, considering slipping through it. I was probably thin enough. But could I really abandon everyone? I slid down into a sitting position and buriedmy head in my knees, crying silently.

I was taken out of this by a knocking at the gate.

"Huh?" I looked up and saw Pillow standing behind the gate, smiling and waving at me.

"Pillow? I thought you left with the others." I wiped my face.

"I did! But then I realized it wouldn't be fair to leave you behind!" She began squeezing between the bars, struggling a little but soon managing to get through. "The others didn't really share my ideals..."

I got up and hugged her and she hugged back.

"It's ok, Pen, I'm here now. We can stop this person together." She smiled.

"I was afraid I'd be alone this whole time." I sniffed, trying not to cry in front of her.

"Don't be ridiculous Pen, you have your friends!"

"I mean, yeah, but..." I sighed. "Blocky's been really focused on Grassy lately, and, uh... Snowball's acting pretty scary. So Eraser was pretty much my only option."

"Oh... well, you have me now!" She smiled. "So deal with it!" Pillow joked.

I smiled and leaned back against the gate, sighing happily. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad after all.

Clock's POV

I was so caught up in the horror movie we were watching I didn't really notice that Eggy had started leaning against me. I only noticed when I was taken out of the immersion by a knock at the door. I looked over and looked down at Eggy, who blushed a little and quickly scooted away. I walked over to the doorknob and gripped it with my mouth, pulling the door open.

Fanny hit me hard across the face, knocking me onto the ground. I felt dizzy.

"God- OW! What's your problem?"

"We've been looking for you two for days now! And now it turns out you guys have been here probably fucking each other while the rest of us are in actual danger! Can you understand why I'm upset?!" She screamed, panting heavily.

I never really though about the effect us being gone might have on the other contestants.

"Don't you get it?! We thought you were fucking dead!" She yelled. "Did you ever even think about how scared everyone was? That you two were dead?"

"I-I'm sorry..." My voice cracked a bit as I said this. From either fear or guilt. Probably both. She glared at me then left, slamming the door. Eggy rushed over to help me up.

"I'm so sorry Clock... I should have done something, I-!"

"No. There was nothing you could do. And besides, it's my fault anyways." I winced as I felt the side of my face. It hadn't cracked, luckily, but it still hurt like hell.

"I don't blame Fanny for what she just did to me. She's right. We should go back to the others." I turned back to Eggy.

"I'd rather not get hit again." I chuckled, earning a small giggle from her.

"Alright, Clock. Let's go then."

Longest chapter yet I believe.

Anyways yaaay Pen isn't depressed anymore.
