Blocky's POV
We had all met up in the dining room once again.
"All right, guys. Fortunately these past few days have been uneventful. Nobody has died since Rocky." He said Rocky rather quietly, as if trying not to upset Balloony, who was still clutching and cradling a shard of Rocky's body.
"Have we found any evidence on who the killer might be?"
Suddenly a shot rang out.
Time seemed to move in slow motion as Basketball fell backward, a hole in her side.
"Shit!" I felt like I couldn't do anything but catch her.
Oh god no, I've already almost lost Grassy, I can't lose her... I thought frantically.
"SOMEBODY HELP!"
More shots filled the room as Bomby and Lightning collapsed, their eyes lifeless and empty. I felt scared, and helpless, more so than I ever had before.
Robot Flower fell over next to me, a cracked hole in her face.
I looked around for who it was that was firing.
Donut still stood on top of the table, now with a face of shock and disbelief. I followed his eyes and saw who he was looking at.
The one with the gun was Barf Bag.
"I-I'M THE KILLER!" She yelled, her hands shaking. "I have been this whole time!"
I set Basketball down, I was too scared to even cry. She was unconscious, but still breathing. I just hoped I could get help before she stopped. I ran through the crowd, charging straight for Barf Bag. In the moments before I reached her I could see genuine fear on her face.
I tackled her down and pushed down on her, flattening her down and pushing out all the liquid inside of her. She struggled to breathe for a moment before quickly passing out. I panted and screamed loudly.
"FUCK!"
Snowball picked her body up and seemed to get ready to punch a hole through her.
"WAIT!" Donut yelled. "Lock her in the cellar! We should find out why she did this!" He sounded desperate. Like he wanted to believe she was still the same person he thought she was.
Snowball snorted and tossed her towards him. "Then do it yourself." He left the room alone, closing the door behind him. How the hell was he being so calm about this?
Fanny quickly followed him out. The rest of us were too shocked by what had just happened to move. Tennis ball went around checking the bodies.
He examined Basketball. "She's the only one that's still alive. She's incredibly lucky. We can probably save her if we bring her to Golf ball."
I exhaled sharply. Relief. Not a very common emotion anymore. I helped Tennis Ball pick her up.
Coiny's POV
I watched as Blocky and Tennis ball left the room carrying Basketball.
Pin had buried her face in my shoulder, sobbing. I felt like crying too, but I had to be strong for her sake.
This was terrifying. There was no doubt about that. But there seemed to be something wrong with Barf Bag.
I put my arm around Pin comfortingly, patting her back as she cried, sniffling as she finally pulled away.
"I'm s-sorry Coiny... I'm just so scared..." I hugged her again.
"You don't have to apologize. We're all scared." I smiled at her comfortingly. "But we're gonna make it out of this. You can be sure of that." She smiled back at me, and hugged me back.
"Thank you..."
Barf Bag's POV
I slowly came to in a dark room. I was tied to a chair and noticed I had a small amount of tap water inside of me, just enough that I could stay conscious. I quickly recognized the room as the wine cellar Puffball had been locked in.
I start trying to get out of the chair, but I was barely strong enough to lift the chair, much less break it.
"S-somebody! Hello?" I heard the basement door open and Donut walked down the stairs towards me. I felt my heart skip a beat, from relief, guilt, and fear, all at once.
"Hello. Now that you're awake, I'd like to ask you a few questions."
