This is an original AU (I think... somebody correct me if I'm wrong 😅) where basically all the sides + Emile and Remy are college friends, but they all bonded over the fact that they all have some kind of mental disorder/disability/illness.

I started this a ways back because I wanted to represent some people. But DontWorryAboutThis gave me the will to finish it :)

TW: Cursing, sensory issues w/ food, mentions of mental illness/disorders, tics/mentions of past tics, mentions of suicide (sort of), switching, fronting, mild angst.

Just for fun, I gave them all full names (The person that inspired me to do this, you know who you are :D)

Virgil Brayden Cole: Clinical depression, Generalized anxiety disorder, Excoriation disorder

Logan Atticus Smith: Obsessive-compulsive personality disorder (OCPD), Intermittent explosive disorder

Patton Caleb Solace: PTSD, Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID)

Remus Samael Pierce: ADHD

Janus Blakeley Lawrence: Autism, Mild anxiety

Remy Lecory Brazen: Hypersomnolence

Emile Felix Picani: Tourettes/Coprolalia (anything in asterisks is a tic)

(Roman's POV)

"Like, where is everyone?" Remy asked as he and Emile walked up to the local coffee shop our friend group always met at. I followed just behind them.

"Logan said he and Patton might not be able to come," I said. "Something about a stressful meeting with Pat's parents."

"Ah. Gotcha."

The three of us took a seat at an outdoor table (the place was almost empty, so there were plenty of places to choose from) and made small talk while we waited for the rest of our friends (and Remus) to make their appearance. The first to show up was Virgil. Then Janus. Then Remus (which was surprising seeing as he's never on time for anything). Just as I was about to get the attention of one of the waiters, Patton and Logan turned up.

"My apologies for being late," Logan said as he took a seat. "I didn't expect to come at all, but Patton insisted." He glanced pointedly in his partner's direction. I couldn't really see why Logan was being so salty. Patton had only missed one meeting, and that was because he had the flu.
