Taking The World By Storm

Chapter 4

Jason

Jason silently slipped out of bed, careful not to wake his sleeping wife. He got dressed as quickly and as silently as possible. He tip-toed to her side and kissed her forehead. She looked so beautiful, he carefully brushed the hair out of her face and smiled. How in Hades did he get so lucky?

He slipped downstairs and got out a pen and paper. The couple couldn't have a honeymoon because they simply didn't have the money (part of the reason why they also didn't have a big wedding either) but Aphrodite gave Jason a blank check and told him to make the honeymoon romantic or he would die so Jason got Hazel, Thalia and Annabeth together one day and they planned the whole thing and Piper didn't have any idea.

It was Hazel's idea to have a scavenger hunt that would lead Piper to their honeymoon destination. Annabeth set the whole thing up and Thalia order the hunters to guard Piper so she wouldn't have to deal with any monsters as she went on her quest to find each clue.

The whole thing would be perfect. All Jason had to do was write the first note, go to the secret destination and be romantic.

Once he finished with the note, he left and flew to the secret destination.

Piper

Piper's eyes fluttered open as the smell of fresh pancakes filled the room. Smiling, she headed downstairs, not bothering to clothe herself. Jason really outdid himself last night and with pancakes in the morning? He really was a god.

When, she came into the kitchen she screamed and ran to the living room to hid behind the couch.

Thalia rushed out behind her from the kitchen. "What is it, whats wrong?" she asked as she moved closer. Piper held up her hand. "Gods, I thought you were Jason" she said, her cheeks went bright red as she popped her head over the couch.

Thalia smiled. "Wow, my brother is totally missing out on this" she said with a laugh. Piper glared at her new sister-in-law.

"What are you doing here? I thought you couldn't make it this week" muttered Piper from behind the couch as she reached for a blanket. "I got in early this morning. Sorry I couldn't make it to the wedding, I had um, some issues getting here" she said turning away.

Piper wrapped the blanket around herself and stood up. "Where is your idiot of a brother?" she said with a sigh. "Why don't you get dressed then I'll explain everything" Thalia said with a smile.

Rolling her eyes, Piper ran back upstairs, passing the pile of clothes her and Jason had left the night before.

Once she was dressed, she ran back downstairs to find breakfast laid out on the bar. "Eat up, you've got a long day ahead of you" Thalia said with a smirk. Piper frowned. What the hell was Jason up to?

"Alright, spill, where is Jason?" Piper said with a mouth full of food. "That, I can't tell you. I am only supposed to feed you and give you this" she said handing Piper a note.

Piper stared at the peice of folded paper. What the hell is going on?

"Um, honey, the writing is on the inside" said Thalia. Piper scoffed and opened the note. "I knew that" she muttered.

"Morning my love, I know this is all very confusing but you're just going to have to suck it up. Basically, I am sending you on a "love quest". You will find your first clue at the wise ass's place. P.S. I love you! -Jason"

Piper smiled. Gods he is an idiot but she loved him. "Alright, this is where I leave you. If you don't mind, I'll finish my breakfast here while you go find your husband" said Thalia as she shoved 9 peices of bacon down her throat.
