Taking The World By Storm

Chapter 1

*This part was just before the battle with Gaea in the first book I wrote*

Jason

"Gods" muttered Jason as he ran his hands through his hair. He stood a top of the deck of the Argo II waiting for Piper to come. He was so nervous, his hands were sweaty, his body was practically numb and his heart was beating out of his chest.

There was a lot going on currently but he knew that now was the time, he just couldn't wait for this whole new war with Gaea to be over.

Eventually, he heard footsteps. Jason whirled around to see Piper in a sparkly blue dress, her hair was all done up nicely and she even wore make up (although she really didn't need it). She looked more beautiful than Aphrodite herself.

Jason straightened his tie on his suit that he wore. He felt the little box in his pocket get heavier. "H-hey" he stuttered. Piper giggled, trying to hide her laugh from behind her hand. "Hey" she replied with a kind smile.

"You look..." Jason trailed off, words could not describe how amazing she looked right now. Piper laughed that perfect laugh once more. "Thanks" she said softly. Jason stepped forward and took her hand in his.

"I figured, with everything's going on that tonight we should, you know, blow off a little steam" he said with a smile. Piped grinned. Jason lead Piper to an open area on deck then pressed the button on the wheel that started the music. A slow melody began to play softly and suddenly, the whole deck lit up with sparkling lights. Piper gasped and looked around her, taking it all in but Jason just looked down at her.

"Jason this is amazing, did you do this?" she asked. Jason nodded "With the help of Annabeth and Leo" he muttered. Piper kissed his cheek, and he felt her soft, full lips touch his skin. It sent shivers down his spine.

"Shall we dance?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. Piper just blushed once more then put a hand on his shoulder while he put his hand on her waist. Jason brought her close to him and she rested her head on his chest.

"I love you Pipes" he whispered as he kissed the top of her head. "I love you too" she replied burying her face deeper in his chest. They swayed to the music, just enjoying each others company, occasionally making a comment but mainly just listening to one another's heart beat or breathing.

"Piper, I need to tell you something" Jason said suddenly as he pulled away. Piper frowned. "Jason, what's wrong?" she asked, almost sounding hurt. "Nothing, nothing is wrong, everything is good, great actually" he said trying to comfort her but Piper still seemed a little worried.

"Piper, I love you more than anything in this whole world, hell, I love you more than life itself" he began. "Oh gods your breaking up with me" she said faintly as she turned always from him. "What? No! Gods, no, I would never do that" he exclaimed. For a daughter of Aphrodite, she sure was bad at interpreting signals.

Jason took a deep breath, then grabbed Piper's hand. He bent down on one knee, taking out the little box and Piper gasped. "Piper McLain, will you marry me?" he said with a smile as he opened the box revealing a ring. Piper nodded profusely, trying desperately to hold back the tears. Jason fumbled to get the ring as he slid it on her little finger.

He stood up and kissed her. They held on for the longest time (Jason had learned a trick to make the air in each others lungs to stay there allowing them to kiss for extended periods of time without breathing, frankly, it freaked out the others but Piper and Jason didn't care beside, it caused some very heated make out sessions).

"I love you" he said between kisses. "I love you too" she replied.

***Hello! So that is the first chapter, sorry it was so sort, I promise the next one will be longer but I just needed the proposal scene to be in here somewhere so here it is! In the next chapter, we jump right over to the wedding which is just after the first book left off so that's fabulous. I love all you little Demi-gods and I really hope you guys enjoy this book!
