Chapter 14

Piper

The next two days were pure bliss. Jason and I just stayed in each others arms, taking in one another. We ate like pigs, laid around watching TV all day and as a bonus, the sex was mind blowing.

Though, just like every other good thing to ever happen to me ever, it ended. I laid next to Jason, he was sound asleep and I envied him for it. I couldn't sleep, I kept thinking about what would happen the next day, I didn't want him to leave.

I stared at Jason, then the wall, then the clock then back to Jason. This process repeated until the alarm went off at 5 am. Jason groaned and rolled over to turn it off. He moved back over and looked at me. He looked confused.

"Were you watching me sleep?" he asked, still groggy. I blushed. "I couldn't sleep" Jason nodded then stood up. "I have to get ready" was all he said before he left the room.

I stayed quiet as a full hour went by, staring at the door. Eventually, Jason walked in, dressed in his armour and battle gear. "I have 10 minutes" he said softly, still standing by the door, I nodded.

"Gods" he muttered. "I was going to say something sweet and poetic but I forgot it" he said. I smiled softly. "That alone was the most poetic thing I've ever heard you say". Jason scoffed. "Um, Piper, take care of our son, be careful, love him, please just make sure he is loved" he said walking over.

I shook my head. "No, when you come back, you can do that" I whispered. Jason took my hand. "Please Piper, just promise me, tell me you will make him feel loved always" he said closing his eyes. I bit my lip to keep the tears from falling. "I promise, but promise me you will come home" I said.

Jason looked up at me. "I'll always find my way back to you" he whispered before taking my cheek in his hand and kissed me with every ounce of love he could give. "I love you so much Pipes" he said. I kissed him once more. "I love you" I whispered.

Jason let go of my hand and backed away. "I'll let you know when we are about to go down" he said. I nodded. Jason turned around and began to go out the door but he paused. I waited for him to turn around but he didn't.

When I got to the camp, everyone was there.

Percy stood with Annabeth and his kids. Annabeth looked like she was about to cry which is something that never happens. His poor kids, they didn't understand what was going on, they just understood that their mommy was sad and they had to say goodbye to their daddy. It almost made me want to go without him.

Reyna stood with Chiron, Frank and Nico. Nico would be taking us down to the Underworld and guiding us through until we make it to the gates to Tartarus. There, he would leave us. Hades of course, has allowed us passage through the Underworld so we don't have to worry about that.

Leo filling up the back packs for us. Each pack was specially equiped for each of us, filled with all sorts of magical devices to help us through. While we were down there, Leo and the rest of the group will be making their way back to the exit of Tartarus in Greece.

"Alright, its time" said Reyna. We all went and grabbed our packs from Leo and stood in a circle. Annabeth kissed Percy one last time and Percy held each of his kids tightly.

Annabeth walked over to me. "You bring him back to me you understand?" she said glaring at me with her puffy eyes. I nodded. Just before she turned around I took her arm. "Take care of her for me" I said. Annabeth smiled weakly. "I will"

"May the gods help you throughout this quest, and remember, stay strong, we all know whats at stake here" said Chiron.

Reyna, Chris, Percy, Nico and I all took each others hands. "Ready?" asked Nico. We all nodded.

Just then, out of nowhere, a flash erupted right in the center of the circle. There, in the middle was a girl, maybe 18 or 19 with blonde hair and brilliant grey eyes looked up at us.

"Zoe?" exclaimed Chris. "Zoe?" said Percy and Annabeth at once. Chris dropped our hands, ran to the middle and took the girl into his arms. "Gods, I thought they got you" he said, his voice filled with relief.

Chris looked her over. "Chris, I'm fine, I promise" she said with a smile. Zoe looked around and her eyes landed on Annabeth and Percy.

"Mom? Dad?" she exclaimed, her eyes begining to brim with tears. "What did she just say?" said Annabeth looking over to Percy.

"You're alive" she whispered. She began to move closer to them but Chris held her back. "It's not them Zoe, not yet" said Chris.

"Is someone going to tell me what the hell is going on?" exclaimed Annabeth. Chris looked over to her. "Mrs. Jackson, this is your daughter, she is here from the future" he said looking down to the ground.

"Then what the fuck were you doing touching my daughter like that?" growled Percy. Zoe laughed. "Daddy, calm down, he's my friend" she said taking Chris' hand. For the first time ever, I think I saw Chris smile.

Zoe turned and looked at me. "Mr. Grace" said Zoe. Chris gave her a look then whispered something in her ear. Zoe nodded then turned her attention back to Annabeth. Suddenly, Zoe gasped. "Get me out of here, now!" she screamed.

"Why, whats going on" said Annabeth walking over. Zoe pointed to little Zoe. "We can't be this close, if we touch, gods know what will happen" she exclaimed. "I'll take her to the Big House" said Leo as he picked up Zoe in one hand and took Charlies and began walking over to the Big House.

"What are you doing here" I heard Chris mumble to Zoe. "I'm here to tell you to hurry, things are getting worse and you-know-who is trying to find a way to get back to the past and to stop you from changing things, you know, from where you started" she said.

Chris thought for a moment then nodded. "I have to go soon, I only came to warn you, please hurry, I'll try to hold him off as long as I can" she said.

"What? Where is she going?" asked Percy. Zoe looked over to her "parents". "I hope to see you soon" she whispered with a smile. She began to fade away, I mean literally, fade away. Soon, there was nothing left.

"What just happened" said Annabeth. Chris gulped. "Chiron, protect Piper, I need every avaliable soldier you have watching her. We have our warning. We have to leave now" said Chris.

"Why do they need to watch Piper" I asked, confused and scared. Chris looked at me. "Because they are coming back to kill me before I even become a threat" he said. "What does that have to do with Piper?" I asked, getting more worried by the second.

"Jason, you know what it means" said Chiron. I looked at Chris. His eyes were dark and full of fear and purpose. "No" I whispered. "We don't have time for this, Chiron, explain whats going on to them. Nico, take us away" ordered Chris.

"Chris, you're my son" I said, then everything went black.

***MOTHER TRUCKER THAT HURT LIKE A BUTT CHEEK ON A STICK. Okay, short chapter but a whole bunch of shit happened. So, just as a recap, they are leaving to go to Tartarus and Chris is actually Jason and Piper's kid. Also as a added bonus, Zoe came back from the future and they seem to have a romantical relationship (wink, wink).
