Chapter 12

I rolled over in my bed and looked at Jason who was still asleep. Earlier, Percy, Leo and Jason had converted my room into a crazy tiny house. It had a mini fridge, a new couch, a microwave, a brand new tv, all sorts of stuff in arms reach just so I would remain here in bed.

Jason was taking a nap until the meeting this afternoon and I was already bored out of my mind. I wasn't quite sure if I liked not being alone yet either. Whenever Jason left, Annabeth would come, sometimes with the kids, sometimes not. It was nice to have someone to talk to but I also hated not being able to have any sort of privacy.

Eventually, Jason woke up but he had to leave and since Annabeth will also be going to this meeting, I will be left alone with none other than Calypso.

"You sure you're going to be okay here with Calypso?" asked Jason as he slipped on his formal uniform as Commander of the Airforce. "I'll be fine" I said as I sat up in bed. Jason stood up and walked over to me.

"Am I set? Did I miss anything?" he asked as he did a spin. I checked him over and nodded. "All good, now, think of a way to keep our baby safe" I said as Jason leaned down to kiss me.

Just then, the door bell rang. I was about to get up but Jason held up his hand. "Bedrest, remember?" he said with a smirk. I glared at him. "I hate this" I said rubbing my massive belly.

Jason shook his head. "You know it can hear you right" he said pointing at my stomach. I scoffed. "Its true, Annabeth told me" he exclaimed. I rolled my eyes. "Great, so when he comes out, he will have already seen all of Grey's Anatomy so I won't have to show it to him later" I said with a smirk. Jason laughed as he left to answer the door.

A few moments later, Calypso and Jason both arrived upstairs in our room. "Hey Piper" said Calypso with a big grin. I smiled. "Hello" I said kindly.

The relationship I had with Calypso was awkward to say the least. We had never really talked ever. On occasion Annabeth would say something (as much as she denys it, she still doesn't quite trust Calypso), but other than that, I never really talked with her. My only encounters with her was at our get togethers but I always talked with Leo. One time, she fought next to me during an outing to New York with just us girls and Hazel invited Calypso (mainly because she couldn't wear her island clothes all the time) and we had a slight mishap with a group of angry furies. She took one of their heads clean off right before it was going to attack me from behind.

Frankly, the only reason she was here was because everyone else had to be at the meeting and I needed someone to cook me dinner.

"Okay, I have to go. I'll come home as soon as I can to fill you in. I love you" said Jason as he kissed me. "Love you too" I said.

Once Jason was gone, we sat in awkward silence for a long time. I was looking for anything to say to spark up a conversation but I couldn't think of anything.

"So, um, how do you like being off of that island?" I asked with smile. Calypso gave me a confused look. "I love it, its all very confusing but I've had 7 years now to get the hang of it" she said. I nodded, realizing that was a stupid question and that she was in fact rescued by Leo 7 years ago.

"You know what, I realized that I know nothing about you at all" I declared. I figured, why hide it, I'm sure she doesn't know a thing about me either.

Calypso let out a soft chuckle. "Well thats a relief because I don't know anything about you" she said. I sighed. "Alrighty then, whats your story princess" I said raising an eyebrow. She looked at me for a moment then began.

"As you might know, my father is the titon Atlas, the gods were pissed off at him after the war and Zues decided to send me to Ogygia forever. I'm about 9 thousand years old, give or take a few centuries. I was cursed so whomever the gods sent to me, I would fall in love with, i.e., Percy Jackson being one of them, and they would always leave because they had wives or girlfriends or what have you. Um, Leo came and as you know, swore to save me and obviously, he fulfilled such promises and now we have been dating for a while and hopefully, I can age, I'm not sure about that yet but we'll work it out. So thats me, how about you. Whats going on with you?" she said with a smile.
