Taking The World By Storm

Chapter 7

Jason

Jason headed down to the arena, where Percy and him would be teaching todays classes. He was so exstatic from what Piper had told him last night he felt like he could run 100 miles, but he knew he had to save his energy for his classes today.

When he got to the arena, Percy was setting everything up. Today for their swordsmanship class, they would be teaching the kids how to use their surroundings to fight. So they set up a little obstacle course for the kids.

"What are you so happy about" muttered Percy. Recently, Zoe hadn't been sleeping through the night very well and her cries woke up everyone, including Charlie. Needless to say, neither Percy nor Annabeth got much sleep.

"Piper" was all Jason said as he began to help out Percy.

"What about Piper?" said Percy with a devilish grin.

"Ew, bro, nothing like that" replied Jason.

"Come on, indulge me. Annabeth and I haven't done anything in weeks with the kids waking up every 30 minutes" groaned Percy as he climbed the rock wall to tie the ropes.

"Piper is pregnant" said Jason with a proud smile.

Percy nearly fell off the wall when he heard that. "That's why Annabeth was all secretive after her visit with Piper yestarday!" exclaimed Percy.

"Of course Annabeth knows before I do" Jason chuckled.

"She always does" Percy said with a grin. "Well, congrats man. You are going to be a daddy! Lets just hope your wife won't have to choose between killing you or the baby".

"Gods I hope not" Jason said as he threw a rope up to Percy.

"Where is Leo? He is supposed to be here to help with the set up?" said Percy as he looked around.

Leo was going to help with the obstacle course. They were hoping to set one up full time somewhere in camp but for now, they had just made a mini one kind of as a test run.

"You called" said a familiar voice. Leo popped his head around the back of the rock wall.

"About time, I'm almost done here" growled Percy as he gave Leo the death stare.

"Sorry I'm late, Calypso was doing this thing-"

"NO! Stop with the sex talk! Just because you guys get it doesn't mean others do!" cried Percy. This caused both Jason and Leo to bust out laughing. "Definitely not funny" muttered Percy as he went back to tying the knot.

When the guys finished the course, the kids had just began to show up.

The course was relatively simple. First there was tires to run through while blades shot at you. Next was a narrow walkway over a pit of sharp rocks. Then, there was monkey bars that break when you have been on them for more than 10 seconds. Following that is the rock wall that was roughly 20 feet tall. The rock wall was fairly easy but some of the rocks will disappear into the wall when you touch them. Throughout the entire course, Percy or Jason will be trying to come at you with a sword while Leo will be throwing fireballs.

The class they were teaching was a group of 15 and 16 year olds. They liked teaching this class because the kids were relatively low matinance and some of the kids were good enough that they presented a challenge when it was one on one work.

"Alright, today we will be teaching you how to use your surroundings. Any volunteers to go first?" asked Jason.

A boy named Tristan stepped forward. This guy was a total meathead. Didn't really use his head much but was brutal to fight against. Once he had you pinned down, there was no way you could get free. Luckily, he wasn't very quick on his feet. He was tall, maybe 6'4, arms the size of cannons. He had a thick jaw and long red hair. His eyes were bright blue and no surprise, he was son of Ares.
