It's been a month since Clark and Nina got back together. And Clark is so happy with that. He finally got the love of his life back into his. Everything seems perfect except for the fact that he lost an amazing friend. He lost Ashley. After the day he left her at the café for Nina, he knows it was a douche move, but Nina called and she asked him to see her A.S.A.P. that's why he left Ashley without a word, but there isn't a day that he regret not waiting for her before leaving.

At the end of the day, he'll always think of what-ifs. What if he waited for her before leaving, would they still be friends? Probably yes. Ashley is such an amazing woman despite her cold façade. He tried to send her a message several times but shame always got a great hold on him that in the end, he couldn't even send a single message.

At the university, he purposely avoided her which was easy since they are both graduating students. And the only time that he could get a glimpse of her was during their graduation practice. And in those practices, not once did she even looked at his direction.

It saddens him that he lost an amazing friend. He wants to have his friendship with Ashley again but he doesn't know how to approach her without her biting his head off. He miss those times when they teased each other. Laugh at something they both find funny. He miss sitting beside her without talking, just enjoying the company of the beautiful view with her.

He miss her laughter.

He miss how her eyes turned crescent whenever she smiles.

He miss how her eyes hold a million words.

He miss her smiles that make the entire room glow.

And most importantly, he miss being with her.

"Where do you plan to have your internship, Ashley?" Nina asked.

Nina has been making conversation with Ashley since they arrived here at the café and he can see how Ashley answers her discreetly as if there's a wall between them making her far from their reach even though she is just an arm away.

He really wanted to talk to her but seeing how her eyes won't even throw him a glance, he knows she doesn't want to talk to him. He can't blame her though, it was all his fault. He ruined their friendship when he stop contacting her. And he's sure she doesn't want to do anything with him.

One the other hand, Ashely is having a hard time conversing with Nina.

Why does she keep on talking to me? Can't she just shut her mouth and tend to her boyfriend instead? I'm trying my very best to ignore their presence, which in all honestly was a hard task, and Nina being talkative is making it worst.

Can't they just leave me alone? They are such an eyesore.

Fudge!

Ashley internally scoffs at herself for sounding so bitter of their situation.

"Babe, stop talking to Ashley. She's busy with her portfolio." Clark said.

"Oops! Sorry. Okay, I won't bother you again, Ashley." Nina said with apologetic smile.

She just nod without looking at them.

Golly! They are such an eyesore!

You are just jealous because Clark never likes you.

I know that you stupid moron! And I don't need you to remind me of that!

Having an internal argument with herself is better than watching the couple being all sweet and disgusting in front of her.
