Concert Time

Waking up the next morning I was completely dazed.. Until I looked on my phone and seen a reminder show up that said 'RAMMSTEIN CONCERT TODAY!' Holy crap! That's right! It's today! Ahhhhh! I jumped off my bed and practically jumped onto Maddie's "Mad, wake up! It's today! It's today!" Maddie slowly woke up "what's today?" She must still be half asleep "the concert ya dunce! Now come on!" Her eyes widened momentarily "oh my god! You're right! We have to get ready!" I shook my head "what? Why? We're still going right?!" I nodded "we still have mrs. Roberts class this morning but then we'll have more than enough time to get ready and get in" she smiled and nodded "okay... But please let me do your hair and makeup.. Please?" Oh god no! Last time I let her was on prom night... Yes, I looked gorgeous but no one knew it was me... I'm not a big makeup person... But.. It could make me look better since I'll be in the first row! And Madison does make me look good. "Okay, sounds good" she was dumbfounded as I got up to take a shower. That wasn't the answer she was obviously expecting.

After getting dressed in shorts and green tank top I was thanking the heavens for warm weather today. I got downstairs with Maddie to see mrs. Roberts taking attendance "ah yes, Madison Baylor and Avery Friedrich decided to show up two minutes late" umm.. Thanks for announcing that out loud, it's only two minutes I should've stayed up there an extra hour.. Bleh I turned to Maddie to smirk at her but she just mouthed the words 'bitch' I nodded and laughed a little.. "So today, we're going to be visiting an german restraunt!" Why? I didn't have to wait long before Danielle's hand shot up in the air "yes ms. porter?" Ugh. The formalities with the last names... It irritates me. "Why a restraunt? I mean there's plenty of landmarks in Berlin.." I couldn't have said it better myself.. Good job Danielle "because I'm hungry ms. Porter.. Is there a problem with that? Would you like to plan the activities for the rest of the trip? Actually, Ms. porter go ahead back to your room.. You'll be excluded from today's activity and you'll be expected to right an essay on the formation of Germany. I'll have Coleen to keep an eye on you" Coleen Coleman was the schools snitch.. One wrong move and she'd rat you out to whatever teacher was the closest. Danielle gasped, but walked back to the elevator with Coleen.. Well, I'm glad I didn't open my mouth.. The rest of us just stood awkwardly waiting.

As mrs.Roberts led us on the bus one of Maddie's prep friends Kara tripped me, I caught myself and didn't hurt myself but what did hurt was Maddie was laughing at me too... I thought she was my friend? I blew it off. Just keep going Avery... Soon you'll be swooning over Till...you just have to make it until then.

It turned out German pie is quite delicious.. I couldn't really eat whatever the pasta was because of its saltiness but you can't win em' all right? As mrs.Roberts finished her six course meal which consisted of spaghetti, salad, soup and cake plus german chocolate ice cream.. We slowly made our ways back to the hotel room still with plenty of time to get ready. I was angry at Maddie but I wanted her to do my hair and makeup.. I needed to look my best.

I began putting my shirt and skirt on along with the high heels and black knee highs when Maddie stepped out in the dress I bought her.. I wasn't going to say anything but she looked like a prostitute.. But her blonde hair was done in waves flowing down her shoulders and her light blue makeup barely showed.. She looked like perfection and it made me envious. "Ready for hair and makeup?" I nodded and sat down allowing her to take complete control "you look nice" I said with little interest "thanks! And you will too after I'm done with you!" Yeah.. I probably would.

Thirty minutes of hair pulling and makeup applying later and she deemed me complete. As I got out of the chair I was sitting in and going into the bathroom to see what I looked like and as soon as I switched on the light I was amazed.. I had porcelain flawless skin... My eyelashes looked longer and darker.. And I now had even black wing eyeliner... I could hardly recognize myself. My brown hair was put into a ponytail with two strands neatly hanging on either side of my face.. I looked as if I could be a model... I just couldn't quit looking at my smoky black eyeshadow either... I felt.. Hot. I went back into the bedroom with a smile and grin on my face "thanks Maddie" as far as I was concerned this mornings fall incident was forgiven.

I decided we should leave a little early since I wasn't sure how I'd do in high heels.. I never liked high heels. So as we got into the hotel lobby we seen most of the kids in our class were grouped up "MAD DOG! WOOO! YOLO BABY!" They shouted to Maddie and I just laughed.. Finally one of the boys turned and shouted "LOOKING HELLA FINE AVERY!" I laughed again but began blushing. As we got out of the hotel people on the streets were looking at us... Checking us out I guess.. It was quite unnerving, but something about it made me feel powerful and extremely happy... Almost wanted.

We walked until we got there, not that it was far away but my feet were certainly sore while pulling the tickets out and entering the arena. "I can't believe this! We're really here!" I nodded but was aware I was smiling erratically.. This is amazing.. Now to wait thirty more minutes for the show to start!
