Break up

Melo pov:

I looked down at the pregnancy test that jasmine had just handed me as she had a smile on her face.

This should be a happy moment for me but it's not..jasmine was just a side chick she wasn't supposed to end up pregnant.

I've been dating my bestfriend y/n for over a year now and when she can't be on the road that's when I invited jasmine once and things happened one night that started happening whenever y/n didn't wanna give it up.

"You have to abort it." I said as she looked at me with tears in her eyes.

"Wow...your really full of shit." She said as I looked down again at the stick.

"How do I even know it's mine." I said as she took the pregnancy test out of my hand.

"We both know that I've only been messing around with you and only you." She said as I sighed.

"You could be lying just to ruin my relationship." I said as she nodded her head.

"I'm not aborting anything..if you don't want to be in our child life then leave." She said as tears came down her face.

I grabbed my keys and wallet and headed to my car just thinking bout how I was gonna tell y/n without her getting upset.

I love that girl with everything in me and don't know what I would do without her in my life..she's been there for me through everything.

2 weeks later

Y/n pov:

I've been throwing up a lot lately and I missed my period last week and decided to take a pregnancy test before Melo comes home.

I'm only 19 and my life is barely together so if I'm pregnant it could mess a lot of things up for me right now.

After peeing on the stick it said wait 2-3 minutes while I waited all I could think bout was what if Melo doesn't want to keep the child or doesn't think it's his.

3 minutes later

"I'm Pregnant." I said as tears came down my face as I looked down at the stick.

As much as I wanted to tell Melo the news...I have to wait till he gets home from hanging out with his friends which should be in about 2hrs.

Melo pov:

I decided to man up and be their for jasmine through her pregnancy and today she has her first appointment.

"What are you hoping for?" She asked as she smiled at me.

I've always wanted my first child to be a boy with y/n and now things have completely changed cause of a mistake I made.

"Umm doesn't really matter to me." I said as she seemed to have caught the vibe that I didn't wanna talk right now.

All I could think bout was y/n right now, how that should be here otw to her first ultrasound appointment, how it should have been her telling me she was pregnant instead.

1hr later

I looked down at the little picture and smiled at jasmine as we pulled into cookout for lunch since that's what she wanted.

"I'm really going to be a dad." I said as I smiled at her.

"Yup." She said as she smiled.

After we ate and dropped her off I decided to head back home before y/n got suspicious of me being late.

Y/n pov:

I looked down at the photo that tmz had posted of Melo and some random girl in his car.

"I really hope this is just a random girl he was giving a ride and not something else." I said as tears rolled down my face.

"I'm home." I heard Melo say as he walk through the door.

"Upstairs." I said as wiped the tears from my face and cut off my phone.

"I brought you something to eat." He said as he handed me some cookout.

"Mhmm." I said as I continued to look at tv as he raised his eyebrow.

"Is something wrong?" He asked as I looked at him.

"Who is she and don't lie." I said as he got quiet.

"It was a mistake y/n." He said as he tried to hug me.

"How long have y'all been messing around?" I asked as I tried to keep my cool.

"For about 3 months." He said as the tears escaped my eyes.

"For 3 months..you came home and laid in bed with me and pretended like you wasn't with another bitch." I said as he looked down.

"She's pregnant." He said as my heart dropped.

"Huh?" I said as my voice cracked.

"I never meant for this to happen y/n..it wasn't supposed to go down like this." He said.

"I've been here for your bitch ass through everything and you decided to cheat...was I not good enough or something..did she have something I didn't." I said as he continued looking down at his fingers.

"Please don't leave me." He said as his voice cracked.

"I hope your able to take care of two kids on your own." I said as he looked up.

"Your pregnant?" He asked as he wiped his eyes.

"Sadly and no I'm not aborting my child." I said as he hugged me.

"I can't believe we have a child on the way." He said as I pushed him off me.

"Can you just pack your things and leave." I said as I wiped the tears off me face.

"I don't want anything to do with you Melo...and this "relationship" is over...don't contact me unless it's about the child." I said his face changed and looked hurt.

"You can't be serious right now." Melo said as he looked at me.

"But I am...bad enough you embarrassed me by cheat but you got her pregnant at that." I said as he bit his lips.

"Let's give us another try." He said as I shook my head leaving him to pack his bags.

"I'll always love you." He said as he caressed my cheek before pecking my lips and leaving.
