A Dare

Y/n pov:

I kept my head down in the hallway like usual, the less people notice you the less you have to deal with people.

I walked to my locker and grabbed everything I needed out of it before heading to class.

I'm not what you would call popular or anything I'm more of a person no one ever sees.

Melo pov:

I walked into the building and looked around for my group of friends before someone bumped into me.

"I'm sorry." The person said while picking up their books.

"Mhmm." I said as I looked at her trying to figure out who she was but I couldn't really tell since she had her hoody on and her head was down.

I let her walk pass me before walking over to my friends who were laughing at something as they pointed at me.

"Did I miss the joke?" I asked before josh tried to stop laughing so he could talk.

"You were talking to y/n." He said as I rolled my eyes at him.

"All she did was apologize for bumping into me no biggie." I said as mikey whispered something into pj ear making him laugh.

"Go ahead and tell me the joke." I said crossing my arm.

"We dare you to date y/n for a whole week and you'll get 200." Pj said as I thought about it.

"I'll do it." I said while shaking their hands.

Y/n will never find out about this being a bet so I won't have to worry about her finding out.

I heard the bell ring and I know for a fact that y/n has first period and third with me so I have time to work my magic on her.

Walking into first,I looked around for y/n and spotted her in the back with her head down while on her phone.

"Hey y/n." I said while sitting beside her as she looked at me weird.

"Why are you talking to me?" She asked as I rolled my eyes.

"I know I don't talk to you a lot but I always see you around the school and stuff and like I want to be friends." I said as she ignored me and went back to her phone before the teacher came in.

This is gonna take a lot of work I see.

"Y/n can I borrow a pencil?" I asked as she glared at me.

"Will you leave me alone if I give it to you?" She asked as I nodded my head.

"Thank you friend." I said as she handed it to me.

I watched the teacher as she was walking around the class talking but I just tuned her out and just watched her lips move.

I was to busy of thinking about how to get y/n to go on a date with me.

I looked over at josh who was smirking at me making me roll my eyes and look back at y/n who was doing her work.

"Could you help me on this question?" I asked her as she rolled her eyes.

"Melo these are really easy question and the answers are simple." She said before looking at what number I was on.

"The answer is 46 now leave me alone." She said.

Y/n pov:

I'm really getting annoyed by melo cause he never talks to me any other time so why does he wanna bother me today.

  I felt so relieved when I heard the bell ring knowing that I don't have to deal with melo for a while now.

I grabbed my belongings and walked out the class only to get stopped by melo once again.

"Are you not getting the hint that I don't want to be bothered by you." I said realizing that it was a little harsh.

"Well I was gonna ask you can I take you on a date Friday." He said smiling as I rolled my eyes.

"If I agree do you promise to leave me alone... for real this time?" I asked as he smiled again.

"Yes and I mean it this time." He said.

"Fine I'll go." I said.

"I'll pick you up at 6 on Friday." He said smiling before walking away.

Melo pov:

I looked back seeing y/n had already disappeared and walked over to my friends.

"You guys better pay up." I said as they all laughed and nodded their heads.
