Y/n pov:

I looked over as Melo was putting on his shirt as I grabbed the cover and wrapped it around my body and sat up.

"Now next time we have a attitude fix it before I come over cause I hate to have to ruin your insides like I did today." Melo said smirking as I flipped him off.

Melo and me have been best friends since 5th grade and recently we hooked on which turned into a friends and benefits thing.

We weren't supposed to catch feelings part of the rule but that broke a couple weeks ago when I realized I liked him.

"Don't you have somewhere to be instead of talking shit?" I asked as I walked into the bathroom.

"Not really I can always pretend I'm sick." He said as he walked up behind me.

"You could but you'll be bored cause I'm hanging out with Jayda In a hour." I said as he rolled his eyes.

"I guess I'll go to practice." He said as I laughed.

"You'll be ok." I said as he pecked my lip as he grabbed his shoes.

"I won't but I'll see you later." He said as I smiled.

I didn't really have plans with Jayda I just needed to get my mind right and my thoughts together before I confess my feelings to Melo.

Even tho I know this could possibly ruin what we have going on, I don't want to continue hiding my feelings.

As I was watching tv, I started thinking bout Melo again before zoning out and falling asleep.

I woke up to loud banging downstairs and sighed seeing it was 5 something.

"I'm coming." I yelled as I walked to the door as melo yelled hurry up.

I opened it seeing Melo was soaked with water from the rain and I tried not to laugh as he gave me a straight face.

"Why didn't you use your key?" I asked as he came in.

"I would have if I didn't forget it this morning." He said.

"But what did you need to talk about?" He asked as he opened the fridge.

Melo pov:

I could already tell y/n had something important to say since the way she was acting.

All I'm hoping is that I didn't slip up and get her pregnant...it's to early in my career for that to happen.

"Promise we will remain friends after this?" She asked as she sat down.

"Y/n nothing can make me not wanna be your friend anymore." I said as she nodded her head.

"I know the number one rule before we started messing around was we wasn't supposed to catch feelings...I broke that rule." She said as she looked down.

I really don't know what to say..do I have feelings for y/n? Or is this just for lust?

"I think it's best if we just stay as bestfriends and don't continue to mess around." I said as she bit her lip.

"Yeah." She said.

"Friends still?" I asked as she nodded.

Couple weeks later

It's been a couple weeks since I seen or heard y/n voice. She's been avoiding me since the whole situation.

I didn't realize that I actually had feelings for her until she stopped talking to me and things.

I thought about texting her but I decided to just pop up since I know she'll either be there or I'll have to catch her another day.

"Don't embarrass yourself." Gelo said as I grabbed my keys and flipped him off.

Skip car ride

I knocked on the door and waited as y/n finally opened the door.
