Jago's pov
I spent the last five minutes asking myself if I should go after her. Why am I questioning this, I have to go after her.
I can't let her get into any more trouble. It's my fault this happened, it's my fault all of this happened and it's going to be my fault if she doesn't get home safely.
I step out into the harsh cold weather and mentally scold myself for letting Cora go into this dark night.
She could be anywhere by now. Half way home? Lost? Scared? My thoughts are answered when I see a white car drive past me and of course it's Cora's.
I follow it all the way to her home by picking up its scent.
I wait outside her house hidden behind a bush until I see her light go out and I wait a while so I know she's really sleeping.
I try to unlock the door with my mind. Focusing every bit on unlocking the metal but it's to hard. Like always, I fail. Restricting me from doing so.
Times like these where I wish my parents resourced me on the using of these cursed powers. But I think on how I'm doing this for Cora's sake, how she feels and how I need to see her and explain everything. That seems to do the trick when a click comes from the door. Open.
Pleased with grin, I open the door carefully and quietly, searching for her room in slow steps.
Upstairs, Cora is sound asleep with a frown on her face. My heart aches for I know I am the cause of it.
Taking a seat by her desk with my elbows on my knees and palms on my chin. I look at her angel like face while my mind is elsewhere. Thinking of ways to break it down to this angel.

Cora's pov
A yawn escapes my mouth as I'm slowly coming to the surface of awakening. I slept peacefully which was odd.
As I sit up and rub my eyes I feel a presence. My vision still cloudy when I look to my left and see a body. I yelp and my heart nearly stops beating for a second. However, my breathing slows down when I realize who's body it is.
"Jago." My voice hoarse and weak.
Looking somewhat caught in another world he snaps his head.
"Cora." His voice is tired and thick. I notice his eyes are dropping with lack of sleep.
"Have you been watching me sleep?" I ask curiously.
"What? No of course not!" He says with disbelief.
"What are you doing here Jago." I say in more of a demand.
"I just... I want to.. um.. you know, I want to explain but..um.." He says unsure while scratching the back of his neck.
I sigh. "Okay. I am going to take a shower and when I get out, I hope you are ready to explain.. Or whatever it is you are trying to do."
Jago watches my every move intently while I am grabbing my clothes. I leave Jago and my room to go down the hall where my bathroom is located.
When I step in the shower the hot water does wonders on my back.
Feeling satisfied after my quick shower, I head to my room to face the reality that Jago will hit me with.
"So, what is it?" I say as I open the door to my room. But I soon see the lying young man on my bed, holding my pillow for dear life.
I leave Jago's sleeping body and head downstairs to make breakfast with a smile.
He needed his sleep and I would not get in the way of it. Hopefully, when he resurfaces from sleep, he's ready to explain.
-yes this was just a filler! But I promise he will eventually tell Cora about the way he is! ☺️
