"Shadow! I brought you some cake"Maria said. We quickly parted away from each other. I had a deep red blush my face. Shadow had a light blush on his face as well. Maria giggled and shook her head. "Am I interrupting something?" She asked. "N-no you're not" I said. Maria brought a chocolate cake that was in the shape of a heart. Shadow went to the bathroom and his mother sat on the bed with me. "How are you feeling hon" she asked. "Honestly I don't know"I said. "Well, my son is very kind and strong just like his father. I'm sure something will blossom soon" she said. I shook my head. "Oh no you got this all wrong! Me and shadow aren't anything but friends" I explained. God this is embarrassing!
She just smiled and nodded. Shadow came back from the bathroom and we just sat there eating cake...... Together.
Next morning.
I'm back at school again and my friends greeted me with hugs. "Sonic! We were so worried about you! How are you feeling" scourge said. Scourge has always been motherly towards me and silver, he was like a second mother to me and that's why I'm grateful that he's my friend.
