"Hey Shadow fancy seeing you here" Rouge said as she walked up to the two. Amy was standing next to her along with their other friend Sally. Amy whispered something into Rouge's ear while looking down at Sonic with a smirk. Rouge smiles as her eyes darkened. She turned to face Sonic with a grin. "Isn't that lovely, you hanging together" Rouge said with a smile that looked fake. Sonic couldn't meet her gaze. "Yea so we got to get going now" Shadow said as he pulled Sonic to the ride. Rouge dropped the act the moment the two left to get on the wheel. "See? I told you. That little skank's been trying to get with your boyfriend" Amy said. "Didn't he have a baby? Was it Shadow's!?" Sally asked. Rouge's eyes widened and she turned around to look at the girls. "No! I know Shadow and he wouldn't stoop that low. It's hard enough keeping you two away from him and now I have a slut to worry about" She sighed. "I could help you with your problem" a voice behind them said.
Meanwhile, Shadow and Sonic had gotten into the ferris wheel and sat in silence. Shadow didn't know what to say and feared that they're date was ruined. "I'm sorry about rouge-"shadow started but was cut off by Sonic. "No it's okay, you didn't know that she would be here" he said. Silence took hold again as the two were near the top. Shadow took a deep breath and grabbed Sonic's hand, Making Sonic look at him. "Sonic, I know you're going through a lot right now with school and other things you don't need to talk about. But just know, I'm deeply in love with you. You don't need to make a decision now but at least think about it" Shadow said. Sonic's face flushed pink as the two stop at top of the wheel. "Shadow, I.....love you too" Sonic purred.
