Sonic POV.
I looked around at the concession stands that line the walking path. Different smells filled my nose as shadow lead the way. "You wanna go on the slingshot?" He suddenly asked. "Slingshot?" I asked. His smirked and took me to a ride with two seats attached to two bungee cords. We got in and the ride operator strapped us in. I felt a similar anxiousness as the ride began to shift so we were looking at the sky. "Shadow? What does this ride do?" I asked. "It shoots us up in the air" he answered. Before I could get a word out, we took off hurling through the air. I closed my eyes as I felt us start to spin. I was so scared but then I felt happy. I could hear Shadow laughing as our quills flopped in the wind. Soon we got off the ride and headed to the pizza stand. "How was it?" Shadow asked. "That was incredible! I never rode something that before!" I said with my tail wagging. He blushed and looked away. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Me and my big mouth! Father was right, I make everyone around me feel disgusted by my presence" I thought. He looked back at me. "Nothing, it's just your smile. I never see you smile during school or at home. You should smile more, you look pretty when you do it" he said. I blushed and nodded. We ate the pizza, we went on a couple more rides and ate ice cream. "Excuse me, I'm going to the bathroom" I said and walked off to the bathroom. I washing my hands when I heard the door open and a deep voice.
"Hey my little whore" The voice. I turned to see him with a evil smirk on his face.
