Chapter 31

Sonic POV.
I recognized the book that Amy was holding. My diary! I've forgotten all about it while I was packing my things that night. "What do you want?" Shadow asked. "I believe I asked Sonic to be here not you" Amy said. "Sorry, I didn't trust you enough to come alone" I said. "You have every right not to trust me, I met your father. He's the one who gave Rouge the diary. I was going to print copies and spread it around school like rouge told me to but I couldn't. Not after I looked inside, so...... here" Amy said as she held the book out. I took the diary from her hands and held it to my chest. There was nothing but silence for a moment before Amy spoke.

"Look, I know that I've been a major bitch to you and I regret it. I shouldn't have done the things that I did to you but I did. I'm really sorry for what I did. I never knew what you were going through until now" Amy said bowing her head. She was apologizing to me.... She never did anything like this before. "It's ok.... For a long time, I've suffered quietly for years. But you were big enough to come to me and apologize and for that I forgive you" I said. Amy smiled at me. "I hope you take care of Shadow for me. You are perfect together" she said. The couch called for the class to come back inside.

Amy POV.
I can't describe this new feeling. I apologized to a guy who I've been bulling since sixth grade and now I feel great. I was walking down the hall to my next class when suddenly I ran into Rouge and her group. "Amy, I thought I told you to make those copies" Rouge said. "I was going to but I changed my mind" I said. "Changed your mind? What do you mean" Rouge said. "I read the diary and found some disturbing things that I didn't think he would want anybody to know about so I gave the diary back to him and apologized" I said.
