I was sitting at the table waiting for Sonic to come back. It's been over 5 minutes since he left and I'm starting to get worried. I got up and walked to the bathroom where I saw him with an older blue hedgehog with brown bangs and green eyes. "Oh, Sonic you didn't tell me about your friend" the guy said. "Hi I'm Shadow, Sonic's friend" I said as I held out my hand. "I'm Jules and I'm his father" he said. Sonic looked like a younger version of this man so no doubt that he was his father. "I've heard that you took my son in, I thank you for that but I think it's time for him to go home with me" he said. The look of pure devastation was clear on Sonic's face. He didn't want to leave and I didn't want him to leave either. "Sir, can I please have him stay a little bit longer" I asked. "And why would I do that" he asked. Suddenly, I recalled a conversation I had with a friend. "My... friend is throwing a party 2 weeks from now and I was planning on going with Sonic" I said. He looked at me then looked at Sonic. "Fine, but after that party he will move in with me" he said and walked out. I turned my attention to Sonic who was standing there shaking slightly. "You ok?" I asked. He shook his head yes and we exited the bathroom. "There's one more ride I would like to ride with you" I said as I pulled him along. I'm going to actually do it! I'm going to ask him out! I'm so nervous! We got in line for the ferries wheel. Everything was going fine until I heard a familiar voice.
