Sonic POV.
This is a dream come true! I hope I never wake up! "So does that mean you'll be my boyfriend?" Shadow asked with hope in his eyes. I nodded as I felt my eyes becoming teary. I felt like crying all of the sudden. Shadow pulled me closer and wiped away my tears. The whole rest of the night was blissful! We played a few games and ate dinner together. It's been so long since anyone actually loved me, my mom did before she left. We returned home from the park and I dressed in a pair of black shorts and a white T-shirt. Shadow was in the shower so I was just on my phone.
Shadow POV.
After a while, I got out of the shower and got dressed. I walked out and saw Sonic already asleep with his phone on his stomach. I picked up his phone and put it on its charger but before I could put it down, a message from a unknown number popped up and it was very threatening. I turned it off and went to lay down on my side. I stroked his quills as he slept. It me a while for me to go to sleep after seeing that message. Whoever is threatening you, I will protect you.
