Meant Nothing

She's counting seconds on the clock

Until the day is done.

Though she fought for quite some time,

The rest of the world has won.

She's made a decision

That this would be an end.

Too long did she spend broken.

No further would she spend.

At last, the school bell rang

And she sprinted out to the street

And straight up to her bedroom

Where her fate she would meet.

She didn't write a final letter

For words could not express

The hopelessness she felt,

How she was utterly depressed.

She found a bottle of pills

And she swallowed every one.

She laid down on her bed to die

For she meant nothing to anyone.
