Alexander rushed through the next door and found himself in a sort of swimming pool area. As he made his way towards the exit, he nearly lost his balance as the ship suddenly turned a little bit more to the side. "Gotta get out of here. Gotta stay alive." he said to himself.
He went through the door that said Exit and was now standing in a changing room, this one with another door at the end. But as he tried to open it, he found it locked. "Bloody hell! Just open up, will you?" Alexander pushed and pushed but the door wouldn't budge.
That's when he suddenly hear footsteps from the door behind him and then someone knocked on it.
Alexander heart started beating again like crazy and his breathing quickend. Was this one of his dead comrades? Did they found him? With no option left, he ran into the locked door, breaking it open. He followed the signs pointing him towards the stairs. But then, he saw him.
He was just standing there in the doorframe. Alexander couldn't see his face, but the guy was probably around 7 feet tall. When ge got closer, the figure started charging towards him and Alexander fled into a room to his right, locking the door behind him.
In fact, there were several sleeping quarters linked together by doors. Alexander rushed through each of them, always locking the door behind him afterwards. And every time, the entity would knock on the door before entering while whistling a melody.
It drove Alexander mad. He was convinced this... thing... was only doing this to taunt him.
As he entered another room, he looked around and realised in panic that there was no door out this time. He was trapped. Pumped full of adrenaline, he pushed a double bed against the door with a strength he didn't know he had. And just in time too, as the entity knocked on the door and tried to get in.
"Remember me, Mr. Dockter? I screamed and screamd, yet you STAYED!" it shouted in the most horrifing voice Alexander could have imagined. Despite this, he knew who that voice belonged too.
Lieutenant Davies. He was coming to take him to hell where he belonged.
"Go away! You're not real, you're just in my head!" Alexander shouted back at him, but recieved no answer. And he himself doubted that he was only hallucinating. "This can't be real... None of this is real...." he whispered. When he saw a vent, he opend it and crawled through. And where did he emerge?
A fucking morgue.
"Are you kidding me? This ship as a morgue as well?" he asked and checked the office. But what he saw on the walls shocked him to the very core.
