Chapter 4

Courtney's POV

I walk downstairs to the living room and flop onto the couch where Lachlan, Rob and Mitch are.

"Hey. What's up?" I say casually.

"Nothing much. Just a girl laying on me." Rob says. (Ok I'm rereading this and now it sounds plain weird.)

"What should we get for dinner!?" Vikk yells from 10 feet away.

"I want chicken wings!" Everyone screams.

"Jinx."

"Double Jinx"

"Triple Jinx"

"Knock on wood!" All of us but Vikk yell.

"Chicken wings it is." Vikk says walking away.

Everyone laughed and joked around at our stupidity, then proceeded to start a game of Mario Kart. Jerome thought he was going to win, considering he was "the best Mario kart player anyone has ever seen" , but in the end he was wrong, as he ended in Twelfth.

"In my defense Rainbow Road is crap!" Jerome yelled.

"Yet somehow we all got the top places and you got last." Millie pointed out.

Jerome looked towards us and glared. "I give up." He joked, then flopped onto the couch.
