While Hakken and I were talking, he was literally half busy checking his other phone as if he's reading someone's message and texting them back as well. I don't know why but I just feel kind of... left out? Or maybe just upset because he's talking to someone else while I'm on the phone with him?
"Uhm, Hakken.. I think you're hiding something from me.." I said quietly, hoping to not make things look too awkward.
He looked up from his other phone and said, "What? No. Why would I be hiding something from you?"
"I mean, we've been friends since we're kids.. And I know you very well too. It's just a feeling telling me tha- " I said but then he cut me off.
"It's really nothing. You don't have too worry about it, really." he smiled, trying to make it seem reassuring.. but no.. definitely not at all. "You're just like how you were as always. Being worried about things all the time. " he said.
" Yeah.. I guess so. " I said softly. But what I need was answers from him.. and I definitely know he's hiding something from me.
Hakken started gazing at his other phone again and I started to feel more and more upset. "Hakken.. it's getting late. I think we should rest by now." I said, cutting off the silence between us.
He looked at the time and nodded, "Yeah, it is indeed kinda late. Alright then, you should sleep soon too. "
"Alright. Goodnight.. " I smiled. He returned me a goodnight and continued looking at his other phone before hanging up...
Is he talking to someone else? But even if he is, why is he hiding it from me? Why is he being so secretive whenever I asked about what's going on? I don't know if this feeling is right or not but... I seriously feel like he's hiding something from me...
