CHAPTER 10: "Newly Weds" (part 2)

"Euk, so bitter." Hakken stuck his tongue out and started to drink more water.

I chuckled and said, "Well, you do need to get your headache away."

He pouted and drank finish his water.

He's so cute when he pout! /// He's still the same like how he used to be, disliking medicine and pouting everytime he finish taking them.

I smiled when I thought about it then Hakken gave me a confused look by tilting his head to the side a little. Somehow he reminds me of a cute puppy. (◕ᴗ◕✿)

"Are you feeling better now?" I asked and I took the empty cup from his hands to get him a new cup.

While I'm pouring him a cup of water, I saw his shirt was unbuttoned and somehow... it looked so hot! /////////// I can rest in peace once more (◡ ω ◡)

He hesitated and looked away. "Nothing much, I guess I'm just too tired last night..?" he said, not even sure of his own answer.

"Well, then you should stop tiring yourself too much already then." I smiled.

Hakken blushed a little and continued to avoid my gaze. He turned his head to the other side and covered his face a little. I wonder what he's thinking?

"But still, what did you do last night after we ended the call? You weren't that tired during our call. " I continued to ask, hoping to get some answers from him.

"No, no, nothing. I just did some of my leftover projects and went to bed. Nothing much. " definitely he's lying.

"Are you sure? Cuz you don't seem to be so sure yourself. " I asked. "Or are you hiding something from me?" I pouted.

"No! Definitely not. I didn't hide anything. Nothing from you. " he hesitated. Then he looked at me and smirked, "Why are you so insistent on knowing what I did? Are you jealous or something..? "

I blushed and moved away from him. "W-what are you talking about! Stop spurting nonsense. No, no, no!"

He laughed and I hit his hand lightly. Stupid Hakken teasing me!! //////////////
