Hakken smiled when he's texting someone else on his other phone. He texted a while and then put his phone down. I kept quiet because I didn't know what to say. Why is he texting someone else when we're calling each other? I looked down at my homework and just stared at it with my mind blank.
"What's the matter? " Hakken asked. I continued to stay silent. "Is there something wrong? " he continued to ask and I remained silent. What else does he expect me to say when he's literally texting someone else when I'm on the phone with him. Even if I don't feel the least ignored... I still feel something else... I don't know how to say this but I don't wanna admit it too.
I guess you can call 'that' feeling as jealous.
"You know why... " I mumbled.
He sighed, "I already told you it's just a friend. We're discussing about our group project, y'know? "
I looked up at him, and my face is written with disbelief. Until this moment he still decided not to tell me the truth. I don't even understand why... What did i do wrong?
"Yeah... " I whispered.
"Don't think too much about it, okay? " he said with a smile.
Suddenly I heard his other phone notification again... then he looked away again.
As expected... no?
