I Love You Now and Forever

Chapter 1

Marinette:

When I was young, my grandma always told me stories about her and my grandpa. She told me that once you fall in love, you'll know it deep in your heart.

I always looked up to my parents. Hoped that one day, I'd find someone who makes me happy like that. My parents were lucky to find each other.

Well I can't say I haven't found the person I'd want that to be. Considering he's sleeping right beside me. Adrien Agreste.

We've been together for about a year now, and I loved every moment of it. I want to marry this boy. I felt the pressure on my shoulder leave as Adrien woke up.

"Good morning sleeping beauty." I joked as he rubbed his eyes. He grabbed the sides of my arms and pulled me under the blanket with him.

"Cuddle with me princess." He said in his raspy voice. He knew that it was my weak spot, how could I say no? We cuddled for a bit until I checked the time.

"Adrien, it's almost 11:00. Your father will be mad if you go past your curfew."

He groaned and hugged me tighter.

"I don't wanna leave yettt!" He whined.

I removed myself from his grasp and made him get up. I threatened to stop giving him croissants after fencing practice which always seemed to do the trick. I admit I didn't want him to leave either, but who knows what his father would have done.

4 minutes after he left, I got a text from him.

<Adrien> "I miss you already :("
<Mari> "toughen up you big baby!"
<Adrien> "I guess you don't feel the same?"
<Mari> "haha, pay attention to driving!"

After that he didn't reply. I got worried but I didn't think anything of it. He probably put his phone down because he was driving... right?

I did my night time routine before heading to bed. As I was about to turn off the light I got a call from Nathalie.

"Hello?"

"Hi, Marinette?"

"Yes?"

"It's Adrien."

I dropped my phone onto the floor. My mother came rushing in through the trapdoor.

"Marinette honey? Is everything okay?"

I fell to the ground crying. My mom came and picked me up and held me in her arms.

"Shhh, it's okay honey. What's wrong?"

"A-Adrien."
