Marinette:

And that's when I saw it.

I was walking back from Alya's house, because I told her what happened with Adrien. How he didn't believe me when I said we were dating. Alya told me what he did in the classroom after I left. The Adrien Agreste I knew, and fell in love with. Was gone.

I looked up to see a familiar blonde with another girl.

Kissing.

My heart sank to the floor. We were still technically dating, and it hurt so much seeing him with someone else. I turned around and ran into an alley, where I cried into my knees. I ripped off the necklace and threw it at the wall in the dark alley. I didn't care anymore. That necklace was special to me, but Adrien was more special. I already lost him, it wouldn't matter if I lost anything else.

I continued crying until I felt something on my shoulder. I looked up to see Alya.

"Alya? What are you doing here?" I tried saying as clearly as I could.

"I walked outside a little after you left because I forgot to water my plants. I saw Adrien and Kagami. But I also saw you."

She sat down beside me and hugged me tightly. I cried into her shoulder, letting it all out. She drew circles on my back, comforting me. I was so lucky to have Alya. I didn't deserve her.

She helped me get up, and she brought me to her car and drove me home. She walked with me up to my room, and she stayed the night. We watched movies, ate ice cream, cried some more, until I fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning, the night before being a blur. I saw Alya sleeping on my chaise, she couldn't be bothered. I walked downstairs and saw my mom cooking breakfast.

"Good morning honey."

"Morning mama."

I saw Alya walking down the stairs, still half asleep.

"Morning Mrs.Cheng." She said sleepily.

"Good morning Alya."

We ate breakfast and I didn't bother to change out of my pyjamas. Alya had to go early to watch her sisters, so I was alone again. I binge watched The Office to make time go fast. I hadn't taken a shower all day. And I didn't plan to.

Adrien:

The night with Kagami was perfect. I couldn't stop thinking about the kiss. She was all I wanted. My lady of my dreams. Then I got yet another flashback. They never happened on the same day so this was new. But the pounding was harder. More than I could bare.

I saw a glimpse of a hospital. Then a funeral. Then a dark empty room. It all happened so quickly. I let out a blood curdling scream and Nathalie pushed open the door.

"rien! Adrien are you okay? speak to me!"

I could talk. Like I was frozen. I blacked out. The next thing I remembered was being in a hospital bed. Again. The doctor walked in and sat on his chair.

"Can you tell me what happened in your flashbacks this time?"

I tried remembering everything I could.

"Well first I saw someone in a hospital. I don't know who, but it was a blonde lady, very pretty."

Nathalie was listening to what I was saying.

"Then I saw a funeral. And I little boy standing at the casket with a tall man probably his father."

Nathalies eyes grew wider.

"And lastly there was an empty room. It wasn't dark, just empty. Nothing there, no sounds. And it stopped."

"And you said he was screaming?" The doctor asked Nathalie.

"Yes." She answered.

The doctor cleared his throat.

"It seems that you are remembering a traumatic experience that happened in your childhood." He then turned to Nathalie and asked "Is there anything that happened when he was a kid that matched his story?"

Nathalie was hesitant, but she spoke up.

"Yes. When his mother died."

I could feel a tear roll down my cheek as I heard those words. Every memory I had left of my mother, I had forgotten. There was nothing left I had of her. Everything was in my mind, and it was erased. The doctor wrote down a therapist's number to call every time this happened. We called them "episodes".

I was free to leave the hospital, and the car ride back was silent. There was nothing much to say anyways. I looked on my phone and saw that Kagami had texted me.

<Kagami> "Hey!"
<Adrien> "Hey"
<Kagami> "What's up?"
<Adrien> "Going home from the hospital."
<Kagami> "Oh no! What happened?"

I texted her the whole ride home, and when I was walking in. She was addicting, like a drug. But I liked it. I invited her to come hangout later, and she said yes. I'm sure my father wouldn't mind.

She got to my house and Nathalie answered the door.

"Who are you?" She asked coldly.

I interrupted and introduced her to Kagami.

"This is Kagami. I invited her!" I said smiling.

She looked at me with a concerned look.

"Is Marientte okay with this?"

I was confused. Why was she wondering what Marinette thought? Did Marinette put some kind of spell on everyone?

"Stop talking about Marinette!"

I grabbed Kagami's hand and brought her to my room.

"Sorry about that, they won't stop asking about her."

"Who Marinette?"

"Don't say her name."

"Oh okay."

The hangout was a little awkward but it was fine. I had a good time. I hope she did too. I taught her how to play a duet on the piano, and then it happened again. The pounding started. 3 times today?

I saw myself in the same spot I was sitting, and that same girl sitting in Kagami's seat. We were playing a duet. The episode was over and I shook my head. Kagami didn't seem to notice.

It was getting late and she needed to go home. Before she left at the door, I gave her a kiss on the cheek. She blushed and walked out. I turned around to see my father standing on the top of the stairs.

"What is the meaning of this Adrien?"
