Marinette:

My mother drove me to the hospital, as I couldn't drive myself. I was shaking rapidly, and I couldn't stop. Thoughts were spiralling through my head, I couldn't bare losing Adrien.

We got to the hospital and I rushed out the door and ran inside. My mother was trying to tell me to slow down, but I only wanted to get to Adrien.

"I-Is Adrien Agreste here?" I asked the front desk.

"Sorry ma'am, I'm not allowed to give that information unless you're family."

More tears bursted out.

"Please! I need to get to him!"

The nurse was about to reply until a familiar voice interrupted.

"She is family."

I turned around to see Gabriel Agreste standing behind me.

"Alright. He's being operated on right now, but you can wait in the waiting area."

I was relieved and I thanked Mr.Agreste. He walked up to me and hugged me. I was shocked, as he would barely even wave at me. My emotions got the better of me and I hugged him back.

The last thing I remembered from that night was I fell asleep on a chair.

"Ma'am? Hello, ma'am?"

I heard a voice call out to me. I slowly woke up seeing a nurse standing over me. I quickly sat up and rubbed my eyes. It was probably around 4:30 am.

"Y-yes?"

"You can come see him now."

Mr.Agreste had an important business meeting in the morning, so he couldn't stay. I stayed with Nathalie. I've always liked Nathalie. She'd sneak me into the house to be with Adrien, as she understood how we felt.

I walked into Adrien's room and my heart broke when I saw him. He was hooked up to machines, covered in bandages, he didn't look good at all.

"As of now, he's stable." The nurse told me.

Oh thank God. I started crying as I hugged the nurse without thinking. She was probably uncomfortable by my action but she returned the hug.

"Thank you! Thank you so much!" I wept into her shoulder.

She drew circle motions on my back until we broke apart. I walked up to Adrien, as he was sleeping.

"When will he wake up?

"We still don't know all the details yet. He could be like this for a week or even a month."

I could feel more tears coming but I held them back. I slowly sat down on the chair, holding his hand. Nathalie and the nurse left the room as I stayed there. Pure silence. My quiet sobs and his monitor beeping steadily, filled the room. I rested my head on the edge of the bed, praying and thanking God for protecting him.

I stayed their for the night, as my mom went home to get some sleep. I woke up that morning and Adrien was still calmly sleeping. I realized it was Monday, and I had school but my mom told me I didn't have to go. I decided not to go that whole week. I heard a knock on the door. I assumed it was a nurse or a doctor.

"Come in." I tried saying as clear as possible, since I had a soar through from crying.

I saw my best friend, Alya and Nino slowly walk in.

"Hey girl, how are you feeling?" Alya asked me, sitting beside me.

I hugged her as she comforted me. I rested my head on her shoulder, and we stayed like that for about a minute. We broke apart and I told them the news.

"The nurse said that he would be like that for a week, to a month. They still don't know anything else."

Nino looked at his best friend, lying on a hospital bed, like he was dying. I guess he couldn't stand seeing his best bud like this so he walked out into the hallway. I heard silent weeps, and I assumed they were Nino's. He probably wanted to stay strong for me and Alya, but he couldn't take it anymore.

I stood up slowly and walked out the door to check on him.

"Nino?" I said as I saw him crouched down, leaning on the wall.

He quickly got up and wiped his tears. "Oh hey dudette!" He tried saying happily.

"It's okay to cry. Let it all out." I gave him a hug, patting his back as he cried into my shoulder.

Alya joined us as we all cried together.

It was already noon, and I hadn't eaten since yesterday. We went to a little café in the hospital and grabbed some food.

"When will you be back at school?" Alya asked me.

"Probably next week. I can't focus on school right now." I answered blandly.

Alya gave me a sympathetic look. "I'll give you all my notes everyday so you can be caught up."

"Thank you, Alya."
