Marientte:

It felt like my heart was ripped out and stomped on.

"W-what are you talking about? You know who I am, silly!" I tried to cover up with a smile.

He looked at me serious. He wasn't joking.

I began to cry as I called for a doctor or a nurse. They came rushing in and I told them what had happened.

"I need to ask him a few questions.

The nurse went up to Adrien and asked him a list of question, while getting ready to write on her notepad.

"Can you tell me your name?" Adrien shook his head no. "What about your birthday?" No again. "Your age?" Another no. "Your parents, do you remember them?" No.

The nurse turned and looked at me. She escorted me out of the room to talk to me.

"Adrien is suffering from amnesia. We don't know if he'll ever get his memory back. The best thing you can do now is to try and get him to remember stuff from his past. Talk to him about what he was like, stories and memories you shared."

I nodded my head and went back inside.

"Hey," I said trying not to cry.

"Hey.." He replied awkwardly.

"I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng."

I held out my hand so he could shake it.

"I'm... uh-"

"Adrien. Adrien Agreste." I finished

"Nice to meet you." He shook my hand.

I sat down and we looked at each other in complete silence for about a minute. Then he finally spoke up.

"S-since you're here, you're probably my friend or something... could you tell me what I was like before?"

"Of course!"

He moved so he could sit up comfortably on the bed.

"Well you're in 11th grade, your father is a famous fashion designer, Gabriel Agreste, you're also quite famous, and a model too. You love to fence, you play the piano, and speak Chinese. You have many friends, like Nino, Alya and me!" I didn't bother to say we were dating. It'll probably be too much.

"Well.. where is my father?"

"He has an important business meeting and couldn't come."

"Oh..."

We sat there in silence again, but it was a comfortable silence. I figured he was trying to process everything.

"Um.. Marinette?"

"Yeah?"

"You mentioned my father.. but what about my mother? Who is she?"

My heart shattered. Losing your mother was hard enough, but then having to be reminded of it again?

"Y-your mother... she passed away when you were little..."

"Oh."

I wanted to hug him so bad. I decided to leave him alone for a bit. Let him think about everything.

"I have to go now, I'll come visit you tomorrow if you'd like."

"Sure, that would be nice."

I left the room, stopping as a closed the door and let a tear fall.

Adrien:

I didn't want her to leave. She was nice, I'm glad I have a great friend like her. But why was she the one there when I woke up? Why wasn't my father there? Didn't he care about me?

The nurse came to talk to me and she told me I'd be okay to leave in a week or so.

~A week later~

I'm finally discharged from the hospital. I met my father, he's pretty intimidating. His assistant is nice though, I like her a lot. They drove me home and I couldn't believe my eyes.

I called this beautiful mansion my home? The nice girl, what was her name... Marinette? She did her promise and she visited me everyday after she was finished school. I go back tomorrow, I'm kind of scared but she did mention I was popular.

My father warned me that there were people who wanted me for my fame, and money, so I was careful.

To be honest, I had everything a normal teenage boy would want, except for freedom. I realized my father was really strict. I didn't want to bother him at all.

The day was pretty boring, since I was an only child. I was exhausted so I went to bed early.

"Adrien, it's time to get up for school."

I heard a female voice say. I opened my eyes to see Nathalie waiting for me. I got dressed and went to go eat breakfast. My father wasn't at the table. I asked Nathalie about it but she said that it's always been like this.

I got to school and I saw Marinette there again. She gave me a friendly smile and I returned it. She was with two other people. I've seen them before, they visited me a couple times.

"Welcome back dude!" Nino said as he fist bumped me.

"Thanks!" I said giving him a smile.

They brought me to our classroom and I was sitting by Marinette again. Why was I always with her? Were we like best friends or something? That's when a pretty blonde girl walked in. She looked nice.

"Hey Adrikins! How are you feeling?" She asked me with a genuine smile.

(Chloe is nice in this story (: )
"Oh I'm fine. What's your name?"

She looked at me confused.

"He lost his memory" I heard Marinette say to her.

The girl looked at me with a sad expression. She gave me a hug and told me who she was.

"I'm Chloe, it's nice to meet you again."

She reached out her hand for me to shake. I shook it firmly, her hand was soft. I kept noticing how beautiful she was. Maybe I'll ask her out. She'd probably say yes.
