INVESTIGATION START

I helped Daisuke back to TJ's room. I notice Burai and Maina leave the room.

"Where are you guys going?" I questioned them. Maina turned toward me.

"We're going to look at the Ultimate Assassin's Lab. We believe TJ was most likely killed by poison if Karen is too be belived." Maina answered back. Karen? If she found out how TJ died that fast, did she find out who is already?! My face went pale with shock.

"Ms. Right and I will regroup with everyone and state our findings. Stay safe." Burai tried to calm me. They left toward the lab. I noticed Big Mac and Goro standing by the bathroom door.

"What are you guys doing?" I asked them both.

"We're on guard duty. Gist makin' shore naw wun messes with thuh crime scene. " Big Mac responded.

"Really?"

"I'm... a dumbass. I'll be the first to admit. I won't be too helpful for this investigating crap so I volunteered." Goro sighed.

"Why are you here?" I looked toward Big Mac.

"Karen sayud thet Goro could've messed with thuh crime scene hif hay wuz thuh culprit. Ah decided tuh volunteer as wayul." Big Mac answered.

"I really hate that bitch. Always pressin' everyone an' everyone being bratty." Goro added, sighing with annoyance.

"I think she's just playing it safe you know?" I responded.

"Yeah, I get that... but I got this feeling." Goro closed his eyes and scratched his cheek.

"Feeling?" Big Mac asked, curiously.

"I may not be too smart but I do have a pretty good intuition. I feel like that if we trust her... we'll die."

"Ain't yawl bein' uh touch dramatic?" Big mac chuckled to himself. Goro's face went red with embarrassment. 

"Shu- shut up! Look. Just be wary of her, okay?" I look Goro in the eyes and nodded. Is Karen... untrustworthy? I led the way into TJ's room and began walking toward the bathroom. Daisuke's hand left mine.

"Dai?"

"..."

"..." I notice Daisuke's pale somber face. Right... TJ was his cousin. I shouldn't force him to see TJ's corpse again. I reach up  and touch Daisuke's shoulder and give him a reassuring smile.

"I'll be back, okay?" He only nods as I enter the bathroom.

"We'll keep an eye on him." Goro reassured.

As I entered the bathroom, Karen immediately walked toward me pushed a bottle into my my face.

"Hey, Mikoto. I found this in here!" I moved the bottle a little ways back and read the label. Bold Spite Poison. This definitely came from Kei's Lab. I read the effects. "Slowly causes the victim to become drowsy and weaker. Eventually blood will fill the lungs and the victim will choke on their own blood. "

"Do you think this is the poison that killed TJ?" Karen continued.

"May I see the poison a bit closer?" Karen moved the poison closer to my face with a smirk on her face. I scoffed and took the poison from her.
