OG Post Date: 12/18/21 When redesigning him, I wanted to rework his color palette so that there wasn't as many colors as there was before and find a way to lead the eyes to his head. I kept the flannel shirt and overalls the same and I used a dark brown on the boots. I kept the green in his design but I limited it . I also gave him a white hat that really stands out in his design and helps lead to his head
Fun Fact(s): He has an extremely thick southern accent and sometimes people have trouble either taking him seriously or understanding him. His nick name "Big Mac" is a reference to My Little Pony's Big Macintosh, one of my inspirations for his character. He also has another nickname some people also call him by, "Big Ben", like the clock. The name Benjamin itself means "son of the right hand" or "favorite son" which is technically correct seeing how he is the only son, there is no competitions for sons. Macdonald itself is a reference to "Old Macdonald had a farm." The name also means "children of Donald" or "world ruler". In a way, his name can mean the "favorite son who rules the world." In this case, the country music world.
Background Synopsis: He was raised on a barn by his grandmother. His parents died when he was fairly young. Ironically, he wasn't the one who took the reigns in running the farm. Other than his grandmother, his younger sister (who was the ultimate farmer) actually did most of the work. So much so that his youngest sister looks up to her. The local people of the town often looked to his younger sister as a local hero of sorts. He never grew jealous of her but he did develop a inferiority reference. Whenever he had a break, he vented his frustrations into his music (a hobby he picked up from both his parents). One day, a music producer just so happened to hear his music and this launched his musical career. At first, he was a bit hesitant to leave because he didn't want to leave the farm but his family eventually convinced him to. He used any money he gains from his music and puts it back to the farm.
