OG Post Date: 12/19/12 When redesigning her, I wanted to lean more into the Magical Girl aspect of her character. I heavily referenced Sailor moon when designing this character, but with her outfit, I actually used a used Usagi Tsukino's (or sailor moon's normal uniform. I also made her shoes to make her look a little more ridiculous. I think she could use maybe one more redesign where it combines the first and the seconds. I'd just didn't want her to look too much like Tsumugi's
Fun fact(s): She wears hair extensions and dyes her hair blonde. Her basic personality is similar to Gundham's but magical girl. When people start being cruel to her, she acts like a timid Miu or Mikan. Her name Unagi Tsuyuno is means "freshwater eel" and "from the dew."
Background Synopsis: Before she picked up her strange personality, she was just a plain normal girl... that's kinda the issue. She was practically invisible to other people. Even her parents didn't care much for her. People accidentally ignore her, her fellow peers forget about her, and her parents forget her at stores and other places for example. Her parents were pretty negligent. One day, she saw a magical girl anime that had a supposedly normal girl turn into a hero and she always admired that. She found comfort in Magical Girl Anime (especially the comedic and slice-of-life-ones but not the bloody or grim ones) Despite her cruddy life, she took comfort from acting like a magical girl, in hopes of one day she can become one. She just wants to be loved for who she is and not ignored. This is what turned her into what she is today. Eventually, she did get into school and her grades, outside of math, were average. Her math grades were at 100% and she really excelled in that subject. At first, no one payed no mind until she just kept getting A after A. Turns out, she's really good at math and calculating complicated problems without using a calculator. This was when her parents and quite a few other people had her eyes on her and praised her. She knows it isn't exactly healthy that her parents value her because of only her talent but she doesn't care. She's desperate for any kind of attention, positive or negative.
