Should I hang out with Hanzo?

Yes <-

No

He wants to be treated as an equal. If I say no, he may get angry or worse.

"Alright, I guess. Do you know if we have any Tea Crushers or-"

"We have some Mortar Bowls in the kitchen. I'll show you where they are." Hanzo quickly walked into the kitchen. I followed behind. I think this is the first time I've seen the kitchen. It looked roughly like the kitchens of small restaurants I've seen on TV. I saw Daisuke and TJ chopping up some meat, fish, and various other food item as Big Mac and Moeru seem to be getting the stoves and ovens started.

"Hey Mikoto! What are you doing here?" Moeru cheered.

"Oh, Hanzo and I are just getting some Mortar Bowls for the tea."

"Hanzo?!" Big Mac replied, shocked.

"Don't worry, I'll keep an eye on him."

"Oh, alright."

"Here they are," Hanzo stated, caring two mortar bowls and various tea leaves.

"Oh, if one of you guys aren't too busy? Can you he-"

"Sorry Mikoto, but there are only two." Hanzo interrupted.

"Only two?"

"Yeah, I can confirm it. There are only two Mortar Bowls and crushers in this kitchen." Moeru collaborated.

"Oh, okay then?" I responded.

"Let's go Mikoto." Hanzo said, walking out of the kitchen. I quickly chased after him.

"Ah- oh see you later Mikoto," I heard Daisuke stated as I left the kitchen. When I exited the kitchen, I saw Hanzo already beginning to crush the tea leaves in his bowl

"Shall we get started?" Hanzo sighed. I grabbed my own bowl and followed his lead. Sweat began falling down my face... how do I make small talk with the Mastermind of this Killing Game? Not even Makoto Naegi made small talk with Junko Enoshima. Maybe I should try and see if I can get any information out of him.

"Why are you doing this?" I blatantly questioned.

"I beg your pardon?"

"Why are you hosting this killing game?"

"... Do you remember what this program is called?"

"Huh?"

"Remember, I believe Monokuma has already said it quite a few times."

What is this "Program" called?

Shadow Program

AI Restoration Program

Despair Reformation Program<-

"I think it's called... the Despair Reformation Program."

"You're correct. Do you know why I call it that?"

"Not really..."

"... It's meant to bring back the Ultimate Despair."

"ULTIMATE DESPAIR?! DO YOU MEAN JUNKO ENOSHIMA?!"

"Yes... I want to bring her back... I've tried so many times now..."

"Why?"

"She took everything from me..."

"What do you mean?"

"I want to bring her back, to end her with my own hand."

"What?" I tried to get more information out of him but he began giggling. That giggle turned into a cackle.

"What's so funny?" I questioned.

"You got me monologuing. I almost revealed my true identity."

"True identity? You mean you not really Hanzo Seiki."

"..." He never responded. Despite everything he just said, I think I got a little more information on him. Suddenly TJ rushed out of the kitchen and eventually out of the dinning hall. I thought I saw him carrying something. I didn't think much of it at first. Until, a few minutes later, Big Mac and Moeru left the kitchen and dinning hall too.

"Hmmmm.... strange... I'll check it out," Hanzo sighed, leaving the dinning hall. I sighed and began crushing everything I needed to into the bowl. I began to wonder, as I was crushing, why did everyone leave the room... I wanted to see what was going on, but... I needed to seize this chance. After a few more minutes, every one who left returned. TJ, with tears streaming down his face, entered the kitchen. I look toward the others.

"Wh- what's going on?" I asked.

"Thay got into uh fite." Big Mac sighed. They... Do they mean?!

"Huh! What happened?!" I questioned.

"TJ started tawkin' crazy bout sacrificin' himself so way can all survive," Big Mac continued.

"You mean-"

"He wanted to kill himself," Moeru stated.

"To save us?! But what about-"

"According to them Daisuke tried to convince him not to do anything rash. Eventually their argument escalated into into TJ punching Daisuke across the face." Hanzo continued.

"WHAT?!"

"When we arrived, TJ was trying to stab his own throat with a knife." Hanzo said.

"Luckily, Moeru an Ah managed tuh tawk him down." Big Mac continued.

"Hey, I was there too!" Hanzo shouted.

"Come on Big Mac, I'm sure TJ already finished his apology," Moeru sighed, leaving with Big back into the kitchen. I wanted to follow them, and check if they were okay but... I need to finish this tea.

"Shall we finish Mikoto?" Hanzo asked.

"I uh... okay." Hanzo and I finished crushing the tea . We entered the kitchen and began boiling it. I look over to Daisuke and TJ. Daisuke had a bruise forming on his cheek. I walked over to them.

"Is... is everything okay?" I asked.

"Ye- yeah," Daisuke sighed sadly. TJ remained silent with a sad look on his face... I wish I could do something but... I'm not sure if I can help in anyway.

"Hey Mikoto, can you help me set up the tables?" Moeru asked.

"I'll help too, the tea should be ready by the time the main dish is served." Hanzo replied.  I walked over to the appetizers. The aroma was absolutely breath taking.

"What are these?" I questioned.

"I'm glad you asked! These are Bacon Wrapped Dates Stuffed with Blue Cheese." Moeru responded. I grabbed the dished and left the kitchen. I set the table with Moeru, Big Mac, and Hanzo. We placed the forks, knifes, spoons, napkins and poured out the waters into glass cups.

"Alright, people should start arriving soon." Moeru sighed.

"Ahl git TJ an Daisuke then." Big Mac said, leaving into the kitchen.

"I'll go take a seat." Hanzo sighed, sitting down. I sat down in my chair too. Every thing is now into place. I just hope my plan works out. Eventually Daisuke, TJ, and Big Mac walked out of the kitchen and took their seats as well. I wanted to say something to Daisuke or even TJ but then thought that maybe I should leave them alone for now. We waited for the everyone else to arrive in silence.
