Chapter ten - He wants me back

And then I lay in my back and realize that this was only a dream. Tears are streaming down my face and I go into the bathroom when I hear a knock in my door. I run to the door and throw it open and when I see who is standing there my breath is knock out of me.......

He is standing there! Jack.

I immediately shut the door in front of his nose and slide down on the inside of the door. My heart is beating fast. For one moment I thought that Ashton is back and it wasn´t only a dream but my hopes are all shattered.

"Brooke! Please let me in!" He knocks furiosly at my door and continues to plead.

"What do you want?" After a few minutes I just want the knocking to stop because a headache begins to make his way and I hate my headaches. When I have them I only want to lay in my bed and shut all the noises and lights out. And it works he stops to knock and begins to speak.

"I want to explain everything. It was all a big mistake," he says with a little regret in his voice.

"You cheated on me. And you knew what you did. You should had known that it all will come out and I´ll leave you then,"  i shout at him but ask me at the same time why he is standing in front f my door. Why now? And then it came to my mind. The other girl who he cheated on me with must have broken up with him.

"I know. It was a big mistake. Probably the biggest in my life. Please forgive me. I only love you," he begins to ramble.

"And?" I like to listen to his excuses and wrong love proofs.

"It´s so alone in my flat without you and it´s so lonely to lay alone in my king size bed. Please come back. Let´s try it another time and I promise i´ll never cheat again and i will do everything for you," he continues.

"Does the girl left you in the last days?" I know he won´t say it directly but i will take him to the point where he confess it accidently.

"Which girl?" he says dumb but i can hear it in his tone of voice that he is hidding something.

"The girl you cheated on me with. Which girl do you thought?"

"Oh this girl. She left after she found out that i had a girlfriend while i was with her. I was only since then." I don´t know if that is true but i know he can´t stay long on his own and there have to be another girl after that.

"But I saw a girl leaving your flat a few times when I went to the groceries shop," i haven´t seen any girl but i will give it a try.

"Oh....err..." he stutters and you can hear desperation in his voice.

"So was she your girlfriend?"

"Yes...but i didn´t love her."

"So you deceived another girl and you lied to me another time," it isn´t a big thing to me that he lied to me for the second time because i really don´t care about him anymore.

"I´m sorry. I´m really sorry. Please just forgive me and take me back. Come back to me. I need you. Please," he pleads.

"No, i will never take you back. You have to accept that," now i just want him to leave so that i can take a shower and eat some breakfast.

"Please just open the door that i can see you one last time and then i will leave forever and let you in peace," he says and i don´t really know if i should just open the door or leave and take a shower.

"No. You will never see me again and now leave! I will take a shower and even then i won´t open the damn door. Bye," i stand up and walk to the bathroom. I hear a few calls but when i turn the shower on and step under the hot water everything is hidden and i can concentrate on my thoughts.

I decide that it is time to write another letter to Ashton but first i will have some breakfast. I hope Jack is gone when i´m ready. And gratefully i can´t hear anything from the door when i´m ready and go to the kitchen.

I know it´s a short capter but the next will be the letter and maybe some other things.
