Twenty.
I wake up in a fright as my whole body shakes. "Matti! You're going to break my fucking bed! Quit jumping on it!" I yell as he continues to laugh and jump. "No can do! Wake up! The birthday fairy came! Let's go! Wake up!" He yells again as I groan.
"There is no such thing as a birthday fairy." I point out as he steps down from the bed. He winks at me and my bed head. "There is when you're as rich as me!" He teases and reaches his hand out to grab mine.
I let out a giggle as I sat up leaning on my hands.
"I don't trust you." I speak, raising an eyebrow. He shrugs, "Well, that's fine I guess more surprises for me then." He smirks at me before turning around on his feet. I sigh and throw my covers off of me. Placing my feet on the ground, standing up and stretching.
"Let me brush my teeth and go pee?" I ask as he walks up to me and hugs me. He chuckles and nods. He pulls away and winks at me before heading out of the bedroom door.
I walk into my bathroom and laugh at my appearance. I looked like the walking dead but on the inside I had never felt more alive. Which was the funniest thing considering everything I had been comfortable ever knowing was dying off.
I did my normal morning routine before inhaling and exhaling.
I was twenty.
Twenty with no family.
