Naomi Black
"It's not bad—eat it." Finn pushed the bowl of pasta towards me. I covered my mouth and stared at it with disgust. I shook my head, pushing it back towards her.
"Naomi, it's pasta. Spaghetti and meatballs it's not going to kill you," She mocked me with the plate as I tried to swallow the gag crawling up the back of my throat.
Sugar.
I wanted sugar.
I needed sugar.
I didn't want spaghetti and meatballs.
Sloane nodded towards me, a rice cake in her mouth. "You should eat that. Bean probably likes her food when it's warm," I flipped her off as Finn stared at us. "Sloane. You don't have any room to talk. You're eating cardboard," I fired back at her as she narrowed her eyebrows at me.
"And she could be he," I reminded as they shook their heads simultaneously.
I took one more look at the plate and apologized. "I'm sorry Finn, I just can't eat that," I admitted as she gave me a small frown. "It's okay. I'll just give it to Mimi," She suggested as I chuckled.
It was later in the day, I had served up a mean ass whopping at the stadium earlier and I was starving. However, my hunger only would be cured by sweets. I would die for ice cream, to be more specific—mint chocolate chip ice cream.
"I'm going to get ice cream," I announce as they both nod to me. "Without Matti?" Sloane asks as I nod. "You're going alone?" Finn tries to make sense as I smile at her.
Mattison was busy in meetings tonight.
I gesture to my stomach, "I'm never alone anymore." Finn giggle as Sloane chewed on her cardboard. As much as I hated to think about it, she was destroying herself even more as the days went by.
"I'm telling baby daddy that baby mama didn't eat her nutritious meal!" Finn yelled down the hallway at me. I didn't respond though, I was too in my thoughts at the moment.
I knew that her body would force her to eat after she went through days of coffee, water with lemon, and mint gum. When her body forced her—she would binge on rice cakes.
