What is it like living when you know your whole life is about to change?

It's nothing I haven't lived already, but before I just didn't know when my life was going to change.

I know now in nine months that my life will then change.

I'm soaking in every moment of these nine months. For the comfort of me and my mother.

I never got to talk to her and ask if she hadn't had me, would she of someday wanted to have kids? But then she got pregnant with me and every moment she tried to spend it getting high—trying to forget she was pregnant.

I didn't want to forget these moments.

This tiny little baby, growing inside of me deserved every chance for him or her, whatever they may become–to be loved every single moment. Because I knew what it felt like to feel like a burden as soon as you come out.

I was my mom's reminder that NICU hospital bills were more expensive than regular pregnancy bills.

"Are you crying?" He gripped my hand. I bit my lip, shaking my head. I clearly was emotional, but I didn't want to explain why. I just felt better if it would stay in my head.

"Why are you crying?" He pulled me into a hug as we stood in the middle of the kitchen.

It was early, he was getting up to go lift with the newbies on the Penn State team and I woke up sicker than ever. The two girls had already left the apartment that we arrived at late last night.

I laid my head against him as he rubbed my back.

I wasn't saying the bump was developing, but it was coming–for sure. The bloating I had now was just a hard bump. I still could fit into everything, I just looked like I was bloated from one too many bowls of carbs.

I knew that Matti knew it was coming too.

He wouldn't keep his hands off of me or it.

He was scared that he would be missing too much while he was away. It was making me reconsider my choice. Maybe I should be with him?
