Charlie was still writing down emotions by the time she arrived at breakfast. She even marked which emotions would be easier to bring back than others. She may have her guilt back, but she was going to need more than just that to keep herself from becoming exactly like her mother. Normally she would feel ashamed when thinking of her family, but now she felt nothing.

"What's with the weird list?" Magnus questioned as he took a seat beside her.

"Something happened last night." She sighed as Ghita, Viktor and Igor all joined the table. "Zelda bound my emotions and tried to obliviate my memories." She admitted shocking everything at the table at how monotone her voice sounded. "This is a list of what I need to get back sooner rather than later." She explained as she slid the list out for all of them to read.

Magnus frowned when he noticed anger and guilt had checkmarks next to them. "What happened to Zelda?" He questioned curiously since the woman in question wasn't at breakfast.

"She's alive." Charlie shrugged.

"That..is a long list," Igor spoke before Magnua could press her further. "I bet we could bring a few back right now. Happiness should be the easiest, I mean think of all the great memories you've made over the past three years." Igor beamed.

"And the Quidditch matches we've won together," Viktor added proudly.

"Or how about the fact that you came in third last year for the Yule gauntlet." Ghita mused. "Even if you did end up in the infirmary for a week."

" You now have us, oh and also all the holidays you've celebrated for the first time. I mean your first birthday was so much fun. Igor ate so much cake he ended up getting sick!" Magnus howled with laughter as Igor groaned in embarrassment.

"Or how about what happened on Magnus's first date with Ghita." Igor countered.

Viktor quickly shoved Magnus back in his seat "Woah, okay too far." Viktor warned.

The memory caused Ghita to burst out laughing and give her boyfriend's cheek a loving kiss "It wasn't that bad!" Ghita tried to defend weakly even though Igor and Magnus were now locked in a heated argument solely in Russian.

The entire scene had Charlie let out a genuine laugh as a tingling feeling spread throughout her body. It was warm like sunshine on cool skin and left the taste of sweet lemon on her tongue. Her smile brightened and her cold brown eyes melted into honey. Feelings of joy, comfort, belonging were all back to their rightful spots and were so pleasant she wished she could experience such a flood of happiness again.

The argument was dropped instantly when they saw her bright smile.

"See, by the end of the year you'll right back to normal!" Igor smiled as he gave her hands a comforting squeeze.

Charlie froze as the happiness faded away leaving her with guilt. "I don't know if I'll make it to the end of the year." She looked them all in the eye. "Orlov is thinking of transferring me to Hogwarts."

At the mention of Hogwarts Magnus bolted to his feet with an expression that was equal parts disgust and horror "What!" He snapped before Ghita dragged him back into his seat in hopes of not causing a scene.

"What's he saying, I'm only catching bits of it," Charlie questioned Igor as Magnus was ranting as quietly as he could in his native Russian. Igor and Magnus both had been teaching her, but she couldn't understand a word at the pace he was talking.

"I'll sum it up for you, he hates Hogwarts and thinks they are all idiots." Igor translated. "And I agree with him." Igor huffed. "That school can't protect you as we could. "Here you have Orlov, Borovkov, and Balog, they are basically like your parents."
