You are Erwin Smith's niece but he hides it from people even his comrades, it is like you didn't exist at all and he let you grew far from the central inside the walls.

But it's not really his idea to hide you from everybody, it was yours. He doesn't like the idea of it, especially you're his niece and the only Family that is left to him but both of you had no other choice, your life is in critical danger. Even though Erwin is a corporal in the survey corps he can't do anything since he's still only a “Corporal" at that time, so once the enemy see you, you're gonna be dead on the spot. So Erwin let you stay in the remoted village far from civilization, at the same time he trains you, trains you hard until your body feel numb. He trained you until he knows that your capable on protecting yourself. Not long ago, he became the Commander of Scout Regiment. Years and years past suddenly Erwin asked you something that you didn't expect him to ask and that is he wants you to be in the Scout, bringing you back again in the city. You doubted the idea first but soon agreed since you trust his decisions.
