Y/n's POV

“Big sis!*sob* huwahhh! Don't leave me wahhhhuhuh stay heeerree!!!” Sammy says as he holds onto my waist crying,‘ He's throwing a feet again’ I thought then shake my head. I look at the boy who buried his face on the side of my waist while hugging me tightly. I sigh.
“Oi, look at me" I said and he looks at me, his tears is mixed up with his snot, I get my handkerchief inside my pocket and gently wipe he's face.
“ I'll come back, I promise you. I'll never leave you." I said to him wiping his face, he calms down and look at me. I looked at him with a smile,making him feel that I'm sincere. ‘I'm not letting them kill the people from this village especially these innocent kids like Samuel'.
“What if I miss you? What if I get lonely?...” He said while looking at me with a very sad expression.
“ You won't, and if that happens, remember what I said to you..I'll come back, right?" I said and hug him and he hugs me back too.

I took Sammy in his home earlier. It is  already very late. ‘ He's gonna arrive soon’ I said in my mind. Only I here the sound of cricket.

This place is too quiet to be a war zone. Not long ago I heard the sound of carriage heading this way.‘ Just in time’ I thought and pick up my luggage waiting. It stop infront of my house.

I saw Erwin inside just looking at me, instructing me to come in. His wearing a shabby old cape.
“Ready" he said once I take a sit opposite to his. I nodded.
“ Let's get this over with" I say while smiling. He smiled then instructed the man outside to go. Then we move. ‘ I'm gonna miss this place.. If someday I ever had a chance to come back here, I hope Sammy still remembers me.’ I let out a frustrated sigh at that thought. I think Erwin noticed me but he just choose to stay silent.

Suddenly he speak.
“ You're just gonna be in the Cadet Corps for a year, Since I taught you everything already. Once you graduated they will let you choose from the  three Regiment. Garrison, Military Police and the Scout.” I'm looking at him but my attention is in something else.
“But I better say, if you're thinking at joining the Military Police. Its like asking your enemy to prepare your burial. We don't know,it's possible that one of them might be our enemy." He said then look to me with a serious expression. I scoff then looking at him smirking.
“ Why are you telling me this? We already know that I'm gonna end up joining the Scout. Right?" I said with a sarcastic tone, I just earn a soft chuckle to him.
“Well, that is, if you can stand him." I looked at him, a confused look was painted on my face. He laugh and shook his head.
“No its nothing. I'm just saying that Garrison is not bad for you to join too.” He said sarcastically. I just nodded trying to give a shit.
“ Sleep first its gonna take us hours before we get there."  Now I care. My eyelids feels heavy and just a minute of closing my eyes, I drift off to sleep.

Erwin's POV

I saw her peacefully sleeping while leaning her head beside the window. My thoughts suddenly came flashing down to my brain.
“You two have so much in common, The only difference you both have is your behaviors." I said looking outside the window.‘ I really hope they can get along... Please don't act like a brat infront of him’ I got stress out just thinking that. Good thing I already know both of their attitude. ‘ Erwin thats too early for you to be stress out about. She's still gonna train for a year. You should be stressing about finding who's behind of all this mess, and planning for the next expedition.’
I feel like my hair is falling out in this thought. I massage the bridge of my nose and heave a sigh then just shake my head. I look at her again.‘ I know you are very much ready, Y/n. I'm putting my trust on you now so, please. If an unexpected situation happens, I hope you choose to survive. No matter what’

~Fast Forward~

Y/n's POV

I'm walking back now to our barracks, I'm really dead tired. I'm now officially in the cadet corps. I've been here already for about a week now. But before I began...

~Flashback~

Me and Erwin went to what looks like a barracks, we went inside and actually the office of the instructor. When I saw him and he saw me... I really wanna back out, his freakin eyeballs looks so terrifying! His gaze was like saying I'm gonna die once he put me under his watch! My instinct wanna tell me to run but I manage to stay on my position. ‘Damn... So this is it... Were I die' said to myself, but my face shows no emotion at all. I'm petrified!

“Oh Commander Erwin you're here... Is this the kid you're talking about? Can she really survive here?” Said the instructor to Erwin, and Erwin just chuckled while I'm praying that I shouldn't had been so cocky on the way here earlier.
“Yes Commander Keith, like I've told you she has the potential when I saw her.. That's why I brought her here.” Erwin says calmly. He looks at Erwin equally he's doesn't look mad nor happy, just observing. But when he looks at me, his freaking gaze change back like he's gonna kill people.
“ I'm the Commandant of the Cadet Corps, Erwin saw you have a potential, that's why he brought you here. I'm looking forward to what you can actually do, and also, if you do have an attitude... I will gladly rip that part of you, out from your system, Got it?” He said with a devilish smile on his face, I've never seen a demon nor believing in them, but I guess they do really exist and this Old—I mean this old respectable man is one of them!! Fckn scary!!

I heard Erwin laugh, I look at him and, he looks like enjoying seeing me like I face death. ‘Damn this two old hags!’
