Y/n's POV

We continue strolling all around the town. While we're walking, I can see that there's still many people who look up to the scouts. It kinda makes me overwhelmed... Though some individual were looking at us with disgust and it really annoys me to be honest. I glance at Corporal and he doesn't seem affected at all. He really is built different. I'm surprised he can withstand those nasty look that Military Police gave when they crossed paths to us.

I continue to observe the surrounding. It really is satisfying when you see those soldiers being beaten mentally and verbally. I mean they deserve it. The Garrison's veteran soldiers always put the work into the new recruits and it really pisses me off.

We both reach the Market, Suddenly he stop walking and face me. I'm confused but his gaze is on the other side.

“We should better patrol in different locations. Its the last location anyway. I'll leave you this Street. ” I nodded and without wasting any time we parted ways. I mean I also wanna go back and it seems like his idea is great to make our job gets done faster...

While looking around I noticed that there's only a few people are roaming the area. Maybe I'm at the end of the market already. There's only a few stalls in the side walk and many resident houses ‘ Yeah this is the end of it...’ I was about to go back when someone suddenly grabs my arms. I quickly look at the person, and my eyes widened

“ Damn!! It's really you Y/n!! ” I smile widely at the guy in front of me.

“ Cole?! It's good to see you! What are you doing here?... ” He's my friend from the village.. I've never expect to see him here.

“ I found a job here in the city! So I moved here... Wai--woah!! You're now a soldier--not just a soldier... You're in the scout?! ” He said looking at me with amazement.

“ It fits you perfectly Y/n. You look really awesome, and you're very pretty... At the same time... ” I chuckled when he starts to stutter in his words.

“ Thanks ” I said and patted his shoulder. But then his smile fades away and his looking at me with a very worried expression. I totally understand. I know he's worried cause I'm a scout and we all know that. Scouts, they're always putting their lives on the line.

I smiled at him even brighter. I don't want him to worry too much.

“ Cole what's with that look haha... You just came here and you've already became a puss, don't worry I'm gonna be fine haha! ” I playfully said to him... I've never had the chance to say goodbye to him when I left, I can say that I really miss this guy. He just rolled his eyes making me chuckle. He then scoff and looks at me with annoyance in his gaze.

“ Huuh?! You haven't changed at all! You still have that mouth of yours ” He said crossing his arms.

“ Jokes aside, When did you get here? Did you came here before the attack... Wait, can I ask about the village? How are they?... Samuel? How's that kid. ” I asked him continuously.. I have to know what's the situation there.

“ H-hey Y/n, Hold your horses right there... Everything's alright, I got here a week ago. Before I came here, I have no clue that titans tried to invade us again. The village, you don't have to worry about them. They're doing good. Although the old ladies in our village already misses you, and so worried about you! You just disappeared out of nowhere! We just learned that you came to the city after Samuel told us... Speaking of that idiot, when he heard that I'm moving to the city, he keeps clinging into me. To the point that I have to get his Mother just to get him off of me.... Damn that kid. ” Finally I felt relieved after hearing what he just said.
