.::. FFW 4 weeks .::.

‘I’m freaking bored’ Steph moaned from the couch. The guys had gone to play a few rounds of golf at the local golf course, Lindz was working and the girls were busy playing with their dolls in the bedroom. Matt had moved in permanently into the shared house and once again it was brimming full of people.

‘Tell me about it. But what else is there to do?’ I asked as I flicked through the channels to find the music stations.

‘Fuck knows. It’s just getting boring around here’

‘Hmm, yeah I know. Not to mention everyone seems to be a bit flat, which I suppose is understandable ’

‘We need to do something’

‘Like what?’

‘As I said I don’t know’ she laughed as we watched the Papa Roach video for Kick in the teeth that had come on the TV, once it was over the channel went to yet more adverts.

‘Nienie?’

‘Mmmm?’

‘I’ve just had an idea’ I said as an advert just finished.

‘Jeesh, good job you are sitting down then’

‘Cheeky cow’ I laughed ‘You know what we need?’

‘Shooting?’

‘Ha, very funny. No I was thinking more along the lines of a weekend away’

‘What all of us?’

‘Yeah, why not. Take the girls away, they’d love that, plus not to mention it would be good for everyone to get away from shit for a while’

‘You are a genius.’ She said whilst giving me a hug ‘Where were you thinking?’

‘Follow me and I shall show you’ I lead Steph over to the desktop PC that was in the corner of the dining room and switch it on. I typed in my idea on the net and showed Steph.

‘FUCK YES! I think we’re gonna have more fun going there than the kids’ She laughed ‘How are we going to plan this’

‘Well I’m thinking we surprise them all.’

‘Awesome. I know no one really has plans this weekend as it was just going to be a chill out and maybe a club type one.’

‘You think a weekend would be long enough?’

‘Yeah it should be, if not it will give us the excuse of having to go there again’

‘Like your thinking. Right lets get this beast booked’ I grinned and started to click away on the net.

‘Are we going to tell everyone when they get back?’ Steph asked as I confirmed the booking. It was last minute, but it wasn't peak season so we managed to get a package all put together easily enough.

‘Well we are going to have to as the flights leave tomorrow morning, people will need to pack’

‘You mean, we’ll need to pack’ She laughed.

‘Yeah I suppose I didn’t think of that one. Hey least you’ll only have jimmy to sort out, I’ve got the 3 men and two little ladies to sort out.’

‘Bummer’

‘Yes bummer!’ I said shrugging.

‘Hey I have an idea to add to this plan’

‘Well spit it out already’

‘Eww, that would just be gross.’ I rolled my eyes at Steph laughing ‘Well, we can still make it more fun than just outright telling them. How about we do a little treasure hunt for the girls to find the tickets, you know around the house and garden, and then in the end, we print of some pics of where we are going as the prize’
