Chalter 6: A talk with Dirt and Gods

Percy

After knowing Leo was Sammy I didn't think anything else could be more shocking. But being pulled under the earth for a second time was getting on my nerves. When I landed at the bottom I saw dirt dirt and more dirt.

Gaea, I thought to my self

"Yes. Young hero."

"What do you want" I questioned

"A host. Which I need the strongest hero there is. And one that is Greek which is the original. Which is you! Oh yeah! Finally. I can wake up smell the roses and walk on myself!" Gaea cheered

"Not going to happen." I retorted

"Oh. But it already has." Gaea said calmly. And suddenly I felt pain. Horrible pain. Think of the worst pain you've ever felt and it still wouldn't compare to this. It's excruciating pain.

"What. Is. Going. On?" I managed to choke out.

"We are becoming one. It will be fully complete I'd say about 2 hours once you reach Rome. The gods even saw this coming and did nothing. Well my hero. See you in Rome. Oh and tell Leo ill be waiting." Gaea said and I was shot out of the ground and I ended up back in my Praetor chair. But I saw was tinted redish then it went back I normal. When I got back everyone one was staring.

"Hi" I said as if nothing happened. Annabeth got up and hugged me.

"What happened" she asked on the verge of tears

"Yes. Praetor I think you owe us and explanation." Octavian taunted

"Um well-" I started but couldn't because a beam of light picked me up and at super sonic speed into the sky.

Oh great.' I though "mount Olympus"

When I got there I was staring at the 12 Olympian gods Hades and Hestia.

"Um hi" I said

"Percy. Do you know why we brought you here?" Zeus questioned

"Because of my chat with Gaea?" I guessed

"Yes. Now what exactly did she say."

I told them everything that went on and when I finished they all had worried looks.

"Why do all of you look so worried?" I asked fearing the answer

"Percy. You know we can't stop Gaea from taking control. It will happen. Just stay calm and you won't die. You may be able to defeat her from the inside while your friends kill her from the outside. We are terribly sorry but we can't argue with the fates. You will know what your doing but won't be able to stop it. You can't tell them about our meeting here though you will know when the time is right. Only about Gaea." Poseidon said sadly.

Hestia stood up from her hearth and walked over to me. "You will always be my favorite hero. Make me proud." Then she did something I'm sure the other gods didn't see coming: she kissed me. Whoa. Kissed by a goddess. Doesn't happen everyday. I think I'm going to leave out that detail if I ever tell them about this. "You now have some power within you. The blessing of Hestia. You can communicate with the gods and me. Plus you have some of my powers. Now go. Back to your friends. Close the Doors of Death make it to Greece and we will help you destroy Gaea. Once and for all. Good bye my favorite hero." And I fell back to earth. When I hit the ground pain flew through my body. Falling from above airplane level. Don't recommend it. When you hit the ground. It hurts. Anyway. I hit the ground I front of my Praetor chair. And I felt my self losing conscienceness. Then I was slapped and it brought me back. "Percy what the Hades happened. First Gaea and I'm guessing that was the Gods. Percy. Wake up!" And I fell unconsience.
