Chapter 19: what happened last night

Wow.' I thought "I'm gonna kill Jason.' And I feel back to sleep.

It was about eight o clock in the morning now so I decided to go get some breakfast. I saw Jason eating cereal and Percy and Annabeth eating waffles. We were the only ones there so I assumed everyone else was sleeping. I didn't make any eye contact with Jason. "Piper" he said. I turned towards him.

"What" I said

"Can I at least explain what you saw last night?" He said

"Go on" I said. Percy and Annabeth went to leave while Annabeth snatched a comb from Percy who actually looked nice once cleaned. "You might wanna hear this." I said

They sat again.

"Look. Piper. Last night. I came hear to get water wen I saw Annabeth. There was a IM. of Nico being tortured. Which we will tell everyone about later. When it was over Annabeth stopped breathing for some reason. And so I did CPR. There was nothing else. I swear."

I felt extremely guilty. But I tried not to show it. I nodded and said. "All right. Thanks." I grabbed a bowl and poured out some cocoa puffs. Thankfully the last three of prophecy came down. We ate and I said "now since we're all here can you tell us what was in the IM?" I asked Jason and Annabeth. "Jason can" Annabeth said

"Well..." He started. He told us everything that happened. "Gaea told him to kill me hazel Annabeth and whoever killed his sister she wants him. Though I have no Idea who that is."

Percy put his head on the table. Annabeth rubbed his back. I guess he's talking about Percy. "Percy" I said "what happened to nicos sister" he looked up.

"Beth. Can you tell them?" He asked she nodded. He put his head down.

"We'll. during Percy's third year..."

Annabeth went to tell us everything. Up to we're they arrived at some Junkyard of the gods.

"Your not supposed to take anything. But someone took something. Hephaestus' prototype Talos came to life. Percy was about to go into the machine to stop it but Bianca stopped him. Gave him a figurine from Mythomagic and went in her self. She shut it down but it collapsed and they couldn't find her. Then they went found the mountain were Atlas tricked me into holding the sky to use me to get Artemis to hold the sky. Percy took the sky for Artemis so she could fight Atlas. So as a reminder the two of us have grey streaks in our hair. Zoe died at the hand of her father. When we arrived at Olympus Thalia became the lieutenant of the hunters of Artemis. I was thinking about joining but when seaweed brain took the sky for me. I knew. I would never give up boys. Anyway. When we got back to camp Nico hated Percy told him he should've died not her. And that's when we found out he was a son of hades." Percy still had his head down when I heard a voice in my head.

Aww. Percy. He was very brave when he took the sky for me.

I screamed and everyone looked at me. "What" Jason said

"I just heard Artemis in my head. What is going on"

Ask Percy' Artemis said in my head

I looked at him. His face lit up "oh yeah. I wasn't allowed I tell you guys but now I guess I have no choice. I had the blessing of Hestia and I can er could communicate with the gods who like me. Which isn't many. Only my dad Apollo Artemis Aphrodite Hephaestus Hestia Hermes Demeter and surprisingly Persephone." Thinder shook the sky and Percy shouted "too late"

"Wow. You really like bothering them don't you" Jason said

"Just about the only perk of being a halfblood." He said "so when do we switch back?"

Apollo said "a few hours."

Aphrodite: "aww. He looks so nice with his hair brushed. Can't that stay?

Apollo: no.

Quiet. Good.

Frank then said. "So Nico still holds a grudge against you?"

"I guess. I mean I know I'm not but I was sure he got over it when she talked to him." He said

I looked over t hazel who looked like she was listening to something them said "Percy. I can't believe you would kill Bianca. Who knows maybe you'll kill me next!" She said. Then I noticed her black eyes. I was guessing the others did too because noone made a comment to Gaeas dissatisfaction. And hazel fell. I ran over to her.

"Hazel. Are you ok" I asked when I noticed her getting up.

"Yeah" she said and I helped her up. When the ship rocked. Leo put his hand to his Bluetooth.

"Thanks festus'. Trouble guys." And he ran to the control room.
