“Maybe they're over there?” Jean unconsciously pointed towards a random place— exhausted and sleepy from the mission awhile ago.

Eren smirked, a low chuckle escaping his lips as he does, “You really think so? Leave it up to Jean for being a stupid horseface who doesn't even know—”

“Who are you calling stupid? Oi! Weren't you the one who transformed into an ugly titan and couldn't remember things right after? Yeah, thought so!”

“Well atleast I'm the hope for humanity, THE HOPE, what are you Jean?”

Armin silently groaned, it's only been 30 minutes since they've gone scouting for Hanji and (Y/N) yet Eren and Jean's been a pain in the ass with their bickering lots of time now. It seems like the two just could never get along. He glanced at Mikasa quietly wandering her eyes around the area. Then to Sasha and Connie eating the snacks they brought along.

Armin groaned even more, the food they've eaten was supposed to be for the Section Commander and (Y/N) since they're surely starving both from mission and finding each other. If they found each other. If they're still alive in this damned weather. He shook his head, what an intrusive thought.

Mikasa ran up to her friend's side, “You're thinking about it too.” She stated softly. Armin would've asked what she meant by that, but it is no doubt that it's about (Y/N) and Hanji's welfare. And the big possibility they're gone. Possibility.

He hummed as a reply, looking down on his horse. “But the Section Commander's smart, I know she won't ever allow anything to happen to (Y/N).” He muttered more to himself than to Mikasa, feeling assured with his own statement.

It was partly true, though. It's just that, with the bad weather, and with (Y/N) possibly still missing— could the Section Commander even find a solution? Armin hopes so badly. He didn't want to lose a friend. Heck, he never ever wants to.

“We'll surely get in trouble for this.” Jean muttered from behind, ignoring Eren screaming for him on his tail.

Sasha stopped eating for awhile with that, then gulping, she reached for Jean's shoulder almost dramatically. “Why didn't you stay behind? Tell me Jean, do you like (Y/N)?”

All their heads snapped to Jean's at the same time. Either in surprise or in pity. Everyone knew just how fast Jean could fall for someone. Not even a week ago, he had been drooling over Nifa who turned him down the second he asked her out. Mikasa could only wonder why since it's no question Jean is an attractive guy.

He shook his head, “What are you guys even thinking? I'm not about to get into a fight with the Section Commander, you know how scary she can be.” He paused, his eyes momentarily landing on Mikasa's. “Plus, I'm set for someone else.”

Eren's eyebrow furrowed, launching his horse faster to ride alongside with Mikasa. Armin could only smile at that. Eren with his jealousy again. He never hides it well, especially when it's about Mikasa. Hell, Eren never tries to. Yet he still hasn't decided to make any move on Mikasa which was kind of confusing for Armin. Don't most guys make moves on the girl they're interested with?

Huh, Eren surely isn't most guys.

The titan shifter softly grabbed Mikasa's shoulder, urging her to continue riding her horse. She didn't know whether it was because of his concern with (Y/N)'s condition or because he wants to dismiss the current topic. Either way, she couldn't help but blush at the contact.

“Who's someone else Jean?” Connie whispered, only to be answered with Jean's shaking head. “Boo you suck.”

“I think we should ride faster, it's almost night time.”
