Chapter 1

Bella's p.o.v.

"Jayden! Hurry up we need to leave!" I shouted up the stairs to Jayden who, as per usual, was running around the flat like a headless chicken, because once again he has left all his packing to the last minute.

If you were wondering, we're getting ready to move to Virginia for our next mission, we don't tend to stay in one place for very long, we generally finish the mission and then are out and on to the next mission within about 2 maybe 3 weeks, but it really depends on how long the mission takes to complete, and whether or not we have another one lined up.

"I can't find my silver knife!" He screached at me as he ran into the kitchen.

"Have you checked your boot?" I asked trying to remain calm. He shoved his hand into his boot and dug around for a bit, until low and behold he pulled out his silver knife...bloody idiot! I am so glad he's bit like this during a mission, otherwise we'd both be dead!

"Haha...oops...sorry" he laughed nervously.

"Eurgh! Just get the car" I pointed to the door taking deep breaths, trying to stop myself from flipping out.

We had to stop of for gas half way there, because we were only going from one state to another we didn't need to worry about flying or getting a boat we could just drive. When we pulled into the gas station Jayden insisted I bought Jelly Babies for us to share (he says biting their heads off helps him get into the hunting mood...I don't know what goes through his head either).

Once we arrived at the flat we'd had lined up for us in Virginia (the elder hunters get everything ready for our missions) we both went straight to bed to get ready for tomorrow. Its going to be a big day tomorrow because that's when we have to show people that we're harmless nobodies (even if we're not)...and we have to enroll at our new school and prove to the dominating werewolf pack and alpha that we really aren't going to cause any trouble..even if we are...
