Chapter 15

Bella's p.o.v.
"When you go for revenge... I'm coming with you" I whispered. Memories flashed through my mind, feeling the pain I was put through all over again. The dull ache in my stomach was back, reminding me what it was like to go with out food for days. I felt tears begin to drip down my cheeks. I had pushed all those memories to the back of my mind so long ago, in the hopes I would forget what they put me through. However the scars lining my body were a constant reminder...
"Wait, why do you want revenge...or is it like a hunting thing....?" Leana's face morphed from a look of pure shock to one of complete confusion.
"No" I muttered, my eyebrows drawn together, breathing in shakey breaths "It's not a hunting thing"
We sat in silence for a few more minutes until Lena took my shaking hands in hers and told me "Don't worry, you can tell me anything, I won't tell anyone, I promise"
"I know, it's just, I've never had to tell anyone before...it's just hard you know?" I looked up, meeting her eyes. She gave a slight half smile "I do know...you can trust me"
Taking a deep breath I began my story "Ok so after my mum died, me and Jayden were only 12, meaning we weren't legally old enough to live on our own, so we stayed with our Aunt Ruth...who happened to be part of the 'Blood Ecplipse' pack. When we arrived at the pack house, she took us straight down to the cellar of the house where we were locked up in cells all because we were human. I never saw Jayden because he was put in the room next to us...so I didn't even have him for company, they deliberately split us up...to torture us further. I was put in the cell next to the wall, I heard everyone of his screams of agony, I heard him cry himself to sleep every night... It was heart breaking, there wasn't a single possible way to comfort him" my tears had almost stopped by now, the odd one falling every now and again, I was void of all emotion as I felt my heart break for Jayden all over again. "We were never allowed out of our cells we'd have 1 meal every 5 days and even then it was just scraps of left overs from the packs meal that night. They'd beat us. There was no routine for it, some times it was teens showing off to their friends other times it was because they needed to blow off steam so they'd use us as punching bags. It was horrible" I was full on sobbing again now. Leana pulled me into a hug, rubbing comforting circles on my back until my sobs turned to hicups, signalling it was time to carry on, taking a long shaky breath and swallowing hard I continued "I would have given up, if it wasn't for the girl in the cell next to me. She would bring me scraps of food when she could, she'd hold my hands through the bars, and spend hours convincing me that it would get better, that I didn't deserve to die there" I stopped, taking in a few deep breaths.
"Wait, what was you number?" Leana suddenly asked, her eyebrows drawn together and her grip on my hands tightening.
"2-1-0-5-1"
"I was, 2-1-0-" she started but I cut her off.
"5-0...I know" I whispered, barely believing it.
"Bells!" She shouted, jumping into my arms.
"Le" I cried into her neck. "I didn't think I'd ever see you again!"
"But wait" she said pulling away "how'd you get out? when did you get out? did you get hurt?" She started firing questions at me.
"The same day you did" she threw me a questioning look urging me to continue "After Kyron had run out the room carrying you, I screamed for you to come back, to help me" regret flashed through Leana's eyes.
"I'm sorry, I was gonna come back and get you" she rushed
"Its fine" I told her shaking my head "anyway - I think it was Jason but I'm not sure - heard me scream for you, at first I thought he was going to leave me because he carried on following Kyron, but then he came running back towards me and dropped the cell keys in my cell and left again. Once I'd unlocked my cell I went and unlocked Jaydens cell, and gave the keys to one of the prisoners" I explained "that's what got us into hunting. The elder hunters took us in until we were 16, but since then we pretty much just move from one mission to the next. This is the longest we've stayed anywhere since then." I finished
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry I just left you it has always been my plan to come get you, but Kyron never let me go! I can't believe I never realized who you are! I can't believe you've become a hunter. Oh and to clarify it was Jason, I vaguely remember him running back in"
"Well I had my suspisions about you, not many people have hair as fiery as you! Right now training? I need to hit something what about you?" I asked
"Ah hell yeah" she agreed

"Right so , have you done much training before or, am I teaching you from scratch?" I asked whilst we were stretching.
"Well I started training once before, but when Kyron found out he kind of hit the roof" she explained with a slight chuckle.
"Sounds like Kyron" I agreed. "To give me a gage of what you can do, run at me and try to get me on the floor" I told her getting in a defense position, she shot me and evil smirk before running at me. She brought her fist up to punch me, I put my arm up to block it. I smirked this is gonna be easy I thought to myself, my thoughts were cut short when I felt her knee me in the gut, pulling my arm around behind my back, she kicked down on the back of my knee causing me to lose my balance; I fell to the floor. She sat on my back, straddling me, holding my arms firmly in place behind me, pinning me so I couldn't move....maybe she'd had a little more training than I thought...
"Bella?" I heard a confused voice in front of me, I looked up and saw Kyron leaning in the doorway.
"Er hey?"
"Why are you on the floor?" He asked with a hint of amusment in his voice.
"I let Leana pin me so I could see h-how trained she is a-already" I stuttered out unsure of myself
"Uh huuh, cause that's totally what happend" she muttered getting off of me. I glared back at her.
"Umm ook... I was just wondering if you wanted to go for a run with me...since you've been training nearly 6 hours" Kyron asked hopefully. Had we really taken that long talking in Leana's room.
"Oh, er sure" I said looking at Le for confirmation, she gave me a slight nod signally she didn't mind.
"Oh we don't have to, I was just wondering" Kyron said rubbing his neck
"Oh no, I want to!" I grinned jogging over to him and giving him a peck on the lips.
"Let me go freshen up, I'll meet you outside?" I asked before jogging out the room.
